Solar controller bay with disconnected converter (top). Converter still works great and can be reconnected if someone wants to convert 120 volts to 12 volts. Works good to run 12 volt light bulbs but is terrible when used as a battery charger for your expensive house batteries
In the remote areas of Nepal, electricity infrastructures are highly vulnerable to impacts of climate change. With support from Japan, UNDP Nepal and partners have restored 14 micro hydro plants previously destroyed by flash floods, lighting up the lives of 70,000 off-grid residents. In addition to bringing steady supply of electricity to the community, the micro hydro plants will help cut carbon emissions by 45,000 tonnes in the next 15 years.

This is a portable solar power system designed to be used 2 different ways. The actual sling pack can be carried without the hard case to keep weight down or the sling pack can be placed into the waterproof hard case so the battery and electronics are protected from bad weather.
This system has a battery capacity of 40 Amp Hours @ 12.8V DC. The MPPT Solar Charge Controller can handle 200w of Solar input at any given time. The DC output is limited to 40 Amps.
