A stunning diving duck that is often overlooked as being classed as common. Offen seen feeding in flocks and diving under water in search of food. These ducks can sometimes become semi-tame when found in local parks with ponds and lakes. The male has a long wispy tuft on the nape and has a black body with white flanks. The female has only a small slight tuft and a dark dull brown body. Found widespread and can be seen in large numbers on sheltered coastal waters.

Der Buntspecht ist hungrig und setzt sich direkt vor mein Schlafzimmerfenster. Will er mir sagen "leg Futter nach" ?
Das Rotkehlchen kam sogar ins Schlafzimmer geflogen. Das Fenster war zum Lüften offen, es kam rein, setzte sich auf den Heizkörper, sah mich an und flog wieder raus. Davon gibt es aber kein Foto *lach*

The robin even flew into the bedroom. The window was open for ventilation, it came in, sat down on the radiator, looked at me and flew out again. But there is no photo of it *lol*

Die U-4 wird auch Baby-Linie genannt, ist die kürzeste U-Bahnliinie in Berlin, Sie ist 2,9 km. kurz und hat 5 Bahnhöfe die unterirdisch erreichbar sind. Start ist der Innsbrucker Platz, Zielbahnhof der Nollendorf-Platz, sie ist die Schöneberg Bahn.
Auf dem Foto links,ragt das Rathaus Schönberg in den Himmel. Im Ententeich spiegelt sich die Carl Zuckmayer Brücke. Unter der Brücke ist der U-Bahnhof "Rathaus Schöneberg"
Die Brücke und der U-Bahnhof mußten wegen des morastigen-sumpfingen Untergrund saniert werden -1995-2005-. Bei den schwierigen Arbeiten mußten die zum Teil morschen und verfaulten Eichenpfähle durch 21 Meter lange Betonpfähle ersetzt werden. Die umfangreiche und langwierigen Sanierungsarbeiten waren notwendig weil das Gebiet um ca. sechzig Zentimeter abgesackt war.

Die Ingenieure nutzten die gesamte Parkbreite für die Anlage des U-Bahnhofs, der hier mit seinen beiden verglasten Seiten offen zum Park liegt und zu den schönsten U-Bahnhöfen der Stadt zählt. Die U-Bahn fährt unterirdisch bis zur Parkrinne und tritt im Park an die vom Bahnhof umbaute Oberfläche, um auf der anderen Bahnhofs- und Parkseite wieder unter die Erde zu tauchen."Wikipedia

The U-4, also called the Baby Line, is the shortest underground line in Berlin. It is 2.9 km. short and has 5 underground stations. It starts at Innsbrucker Platz and ends at Nollendorf-Platz, the Schöneberg Bahn.

Another one from the Reichstag dome on top of the Reichstag building, the seat of the German government. This is the "top of the top", the highest point of the dome that you can reach as a visitor. And yes, the top of the Reichstag dome is open. Always, 24/7/365, and there also is no mechanism to close it, not even when it rains.
A design flaw? No, the open top of the dome is part of the Reichstag building's energy concept. As you can see in some of my other captures from the Reichstag dome (please check my albums, if you like), there's a large funnel at the centre of the dome which was not only constructed to lead diffuse daylight into the plenary hall of the German Bundestag (which is located right below the dome), but also serves as a ventilation system for the plenary hall. Stale air from the plenary hall is directed through the funnel and escapes through the opening at the centre of the dome. Moreover, on its way to the top, it also passes a heat recovery system that can extract usable residual energy from it.
And what happens when it rains? Don't worry, a device directly under the opening of the dome catches the rainwater.

Das ist die Reichstagskuppel tatsächlich, und zwar bei jeder Witterung. Was sich wie ein Planungsfehler anhört, ist Teil des ausgeklügelten Energiekonzepts des Reichstagsgebäudes, in das die Kuppel mit einbezogen wurde.
Wie Ihr vermutlich wisst, dient der Trichter in der Mitte der Kuppel nicht nur dazu, diffuses Tageslicht in den sich direkt unter der Kuppel befindlichen Plenarsaal zu leiten. Der Trichter dient auch als Belüftungssystem, indem er verbrauchte Luft nach oben direkt durch die Öffnung im Kuppeldach abtransportiert. Nicht nur das, auf dem Weg zur Kuppelöffnung passiert sie auch noch eine Wärmerückgewinnungsanlage, die ihr verwertbare Restenergie entzieht. Die vom Architekten des Reichstagsgebäudes, Paul Wallot (1841-1912), ursprünglich vorgesehenen Belüftungsschächte wurden beim Neubau der Kuppel übrigens wieder freigelegt und ebenfalls für die Versorgung mit Frischluft nutzbar gemacht.
Und was passiert, wenn es regnet? Keine Sorge, eine Vorrichtung direkt unter der Kuppelöffnung fängt das Regenwasser auf.

The problem was the butterfly itself, who was constantly wriggling, while always keeping his wings open in this threatening gesture.
The colors and drawing on the butterfly itself I have achieved through a reflector. In addition, the tonal range of the D810, in contrast to previous cameras is gigantic and works when working in Lightroom real wonders.
Ein weiteres Bild vom Schwalbenschwanz, den ich auf den Höhen der Südeifel während des Sonnenaufgangs fotografieren konnte.
Die Sonne ging im Morgendunst auf und war für einige Minuten nicht sehr hell.
Das Problem war der Schmetterling selbst, der ständig hin und her zappelte, während er allerdings permanent in dieser Drohgebärde die Flügel offen hielt.
Die Farben und Zeichnung auf dem Falter selbst habe ich durch einen Reflektor erzielt. Zudem ist der Tonwertumfang der D810 im Gegensatz zu früheren Kameras gigantisch und wirkt bei der Bearbeitung in Lightroom echte Wunder.

Seit 1820 gibt es im Hospital zwei Längsgänge mit aneinander gereihten 4qm großen, hölzernen Kammern, die nach oben offen sind und bis 1970 bewohnt wurden.
In diesen "Kabäuschen" waren die Bewohner des Hospitals nach Geschlechtern getrennt untergebracht. An den Türen der Kammern sind heute noch die Namen und Nummern ihrer Bewohner zu lesen.

It is well known that the lakes in the Upper Engadine freeze at an altitude around 1800 metres in winter, and I wanted to experience this for myself. I travelled there in mid-February in the most beautiful weather - and it was far too warm for the time of year! But the Lake Sils was frozen and I - like many others - hiked across it to the mouth of the Aua da Fedoz. There, however, the lake was open and formed gorgeous ice sculptures. I just had to make sure that the ice under my feet was stable enough, a cold bath would have been a bit unpleasant...
Es ist bekannt, dass die Seen im Oberengadin auf rund 1800 Meter im Winter gefrieren, und das wollte ich einmal selber erleben. Mitte Februar bin ich bei schönstem Wetter hingereist - und es war viel zu warm für die Jahreszeit! Doch der Silsersee war zugefroren und ich bin - wie viele andere auch - darüber gewandert bis zur Flussmündung der Aua da Fedoz. Dort war der See allerdings offen und bildete wunderschöne Eisskulpturen. Ich musste beim Fotografieren nur gut aufpassen, dass das Eis unter meinen Füssen stabil genug war, ein kaltes Bad wäre etwas unangenehm gewesen...
Die Karten gehören Silke Klimesch und sind 1,5 x2,3 cm klein.
Die Geschichte einer bösen Tat erzählen die sehr kleinen Taroc-Karten. Sie erzählt wie das Gut das Böse verdrängt,
die Karten lesen sich von links nach rechts, liebe Freunde.
Ein mächtiger böser Nachbar der heimtückisch seinen „Bruder“ überfällt weil dieser sein Leben selbst bestimmen will.
Es erzählt wie der kleinere und nicht so mächtige Nachbar, sich wehrt und… große Unterstützung von vielen Nachbarn, die in dem riesengroßen Land das Kontinent genannt wird, große Unterstützung erfährt.
Eine Geschichte die leider noch nicht zu Ende erzählt werden kann, weil sie noch offen ist. Wird der böse Nachbar einlenken und die Geschichte findet ein gutes und friedliches ENDE. Wir hoffen es.

Elle raconte comment le bien supplante le mal,
les cartes se lisent de gauche à droite, chers amis.
Les très petites cartes Taroc racontent l'histoire d'un acte malveillant.
Un voisin puissant et malveillant qui attaque sournoisement son "frère" parce que celui-ci veut décider lui-même de sa vie.
Elle raconte comment le voisin plus petit et moins puissant se défend et... reçoit un grand soutien de la part de nombreux voisins, dans l'immense pays qu'on appelle le continent.
Une histoire qui ne peut malheureusement pas encore être racontée jusqu'au bout, car elle est encore ouverte. Le méchant voisin cédera-t-il et l'histoire connaîtra-t-elle une FIN heureuse et pacifique ? Nous l'espérons.

After yesterday we were able to admire the forest from a distance, today we venture deep into the thicket.
It is a bit more strenuous to explore the area off the beaten track and you also have to search a little more for a motive. Unfortunately, many forests have been converted into tree plantations and have lost so much of their magic (the bark beetle is currently doing the reversal here). But if we take our time and keep our eyes open, we will find motifs everywhere that are worth staying with them for a while.
When I came out of the undergrowth into a small clearing at this point, I immediately had the association with a burial ground. And that's how I felt then.
Nachdem wir gestern den Wald aus der Distanz bewundern konnten wagen wir uns heute tief hinein ins Dickicht.
Es ist etwas anstrengender die Gegend abseits befestigter Pfade zu erkunden und man muss auch etwas mehr nach einem Motiv suchen. Viele Wälder sind leider zu Baum Plantagen umgewandelt worden und haben so viel ihrer Magie eingebüßt (der Borkenkäfer regelt hier gerade die Rückabwicklung). Doch wenn wir uns Zeit lassen und die Augen offen halten finden wir überall Motive die es wert sind eine Zeit lang bei Ihnen zu verweilen.
Als ich an dieser Stelle aus dem Unterholz auf eine kleine Lichtung kam hatte ich sofort die Assoziation mit einer Begräbnisstätte. Und so habe ich mich dann auch gefühlt.

Als wir an unserem vorletzten Tag in Kroatien auf der Insel Cres von Belej über eine enge, kurvige Straße in der Bucht Zela angekommen waren, war ich einerseits froh, als wir endlich am Parkplatz standen, aber zuvor blieb mir beim Anblick dieser Bucht im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes der Mund über deren Schönheit offen !

Plötzlich beginnt die Schale von dem Ei zu brechen, erst ein Spalt dann ist das Ei offen.
Fynn: was ist das, sieht aus wie ein Dino.
Charlotte: ich dachte die sind ausgestorben.
Von weiten hört man schwere Schritte, die Erde bebt.
Ein riesiger Dino kommt näher.
Fynn, Olga, Charlotte und Charly rennen davon.
Der Kleine Dino ruft "Mama" und schon ist sie da.
Happyend.
Ob die vier Abenteurer das nur geträumt haben, wer weiß.
