276) Terek Sandpiper
Terek sandpiper, Xenus cinereus, Kedidi Sereng
It is named after the Terek River which flows into the west of the Caspian Sea, as it was first observed around this area. Slightly larger than the common sandpiper at 22–25 cm length, its long upcurved bill , somewhat reminiscent of an avocet's, but not as strongly curved – makes it very distinctive. It feeds in a distinctive and very active way, chasing insects and other mobile prey, and sometimes then running to the water's edge to wash its catch.
Kedidi Sereng punya paruh yang unik menyebabkan ia boleh dibezakan dengan burung kedidi yang lain apabila duduk dalam kumpulan yang sama. Seperti waders lain ia boleh dilihat di kawasan muara berlumpur mencari makan dalam kumpulan besar bersama kedidi spesis lain.

I caught this photographer with Lincoln from across the pond. I thought the juxtaposition was interesting, the creator of history and the one watching history. The two alone seemed interesting. Its only possible to get an image like this if you are up very early or very late. In this case, it was very early, just about day-break.
A drake Redhead (Aythya americana) in the moult stage. It is not the majestic bird shown in bird identification guides but a necessary part of the annual cycle for these birds. It was observed on a small wetland west of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

The eye of a goat is incredible, has an horizontal black line in the middle and all around a round orbit.
The long horns make them look like a demon.
