I didn't know how to make a better picture, during the trip with the cable car, but it was a lovely experience and a marvelous view, must share it :)
1964/07.R1679. Isle of Wight : A train for Ryde Pier Head is departing from Newport behind one of the London and South Western Railway O2 class 0-4-4 tanks that were, for many years, a feature of the Isle of Wight railways.

35 Freshwater makes a steamy departure from Ryde Pier Head Stn. on 24/4/65. The condition of No.35 was typical of the locos on the Isle of Wight - obviously this was one backwater of BR that still kept to the old values!
