The sun goes down over the O2 as the light ends for the day.
The O2 (formerly known as the Millennium Dome) is a large entertainment district on the Greenwich peninsula in South East London, England, including an indoor arena, a music club, a Cineworld cinema, an exhibition space, piazzas, bars, restaurants, and a guided tour to the top of the O2. It was built largely within the former Millennium Dome, a large dome-shaped canopy built to house an exhibition celebrating the turn of the third millennium; consequently The Dome remains a name in common usage for the venue. Naming rights to the district were purchased by the mobile telephone provider O2 from its developers, Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), during the development of the district. AEG owns the long-term lease on the O2 Arena and surrounding leisure space. On 23 February 2017, O2 announced that they had agreed to a deal with AEG to maintain the naming rights of The O2 for a further 10 years until 2027.
O2 is the trading name for Telefónica Europe, a European telecommunications provider.

this is from a 2011, Photoshop would not stitch the 7 images taken when i tried. I thought it was ruined until today (2 years Later) a read about PTgui in a photo mag. I tried it out and wolla stitched together almost perfectly. I'm just glad i kept the original raw files :P
after walking for almost 4 hours down the Thames Path I found myself at this iconic beauty! Iv always wanted to capture this place, I was perched on a bouncing bridge and had to judge 15 second breaks in the traffic to get it still enough for my full exposure....I just about managed
I took my new Nikon Z6ii out for a spin on a very chilly evening in London tonight. I'm really impressed so far, especially the capability of the camera to get great low-light shots with such little noise. I tested it out around ISO 5,000 in some shots and still much less noise than my D750. Incredible!
To celebrate, here's my first photo from the Z6ii of the O2 on Greenwich Peninsula.
