Wherever you hide the nuts and seeds to attract the birds, these little animals will find them - but at least it posed for a few shots in return!
Away for a few days with no internet access. Thanks as always for any comments - they are always very much appreciated. I'll catch up as soon as I can when I return.
A couple more shots below.

Take a good long look at 56087. Ok, now close your eyes and think. Go on, admit it. You can hear that Paxman lump screaming it's nuts off, can't you? Oh yeah... ;)
You should also own up that you dribbled a bit when you were thinking. Just a bit, but dribble it was...

Raw cashew nuts, that is. They are sold all over the city and along the roads - if you are stuck in traffic, you sure will be offered nuts many, many times. They are delicious too.

So we will have a harvest this year. How much is still up in the air. Non-viable nuts are dropping now. We had another freeze last week, this time grapes were decimated. The good news is my leaf tissue report came back best in the valley. Woo Hoo Can only imagine what this year's harvest would have been without the hard freeze last month. The tissue report is indicating the trees were expecting to produce something big. Very balanced with only Nitrogen being a little high for this time of year. So other than the nut loss, these trees are all dressed up and ready to go.
So to restate, my effort this year will be to enter the "Organic" (Soil Regeneration) 3 year conversion period and take the 20% first year hit to volume, this year, due to ripping the IV off the trees (not using fertigation and synthetic sprays and such) and applying natural components.
Update, current logistics mean that my harvest would need to be shipped beyond reason to an "Organic" facility. Increase in shipping costs offsets economical benefits. The other choice is shipping overseas and having it imported back as "Organic". In both cases consider the fuel costs. This has to be profitable and not a hobby. Doesn't mean I won't practice soil regenerative practices, just means I won't declare and incur extra costs. I also predict this year is going to be buggy since the 3 late season freezes have decimated the predator bugs. Read as, I didn't and haven't seen the clouds of spiders floating in the field like most years. Haven't seen the Lace Wings either. Usually really thick by now.

Just hanging by the lake and this little guy popped up looking for a free meal. Again, my first crack at Lightroom. I think I could get used to it. :)

Our first encounter with an Abert's Squirrel at Bandolier National Monument, Los Alamos, NM. Masked the background but left part of the picnic table the squirrel was sitting on. Placed them on one of Jai Johnson's textures. Added one from Flypaper Textures, twice.
