Numbers: Computer World
Many new trains have seen their introduction delayed by computer software problems, the Nova 3 sets being one of them. Everything though is now coming good with them. The Nova 3 is a fantastic train to travel on.
No computer problems here! Passengers gather as 68027 ‘Splendid ‘ awaits departure from Scarborough with the 19:44 service to Liverpool Lime Street on Sunday 8 th September 2019.

I never forgot 'The Numbers Project', it's just that lack of job, then job, then pandemic took priority. Next stop - no fuel to go number hunting...
This keyboard captured at the last hotel we stayed in, 3 months before the pandemic hit.
Taken on the way to a two week stay in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia. We had visited Campobello Island in February, got some really nice photos so decided to stop for two days here in warm weather. Here's a pic of "Seven Sons" taken in Head Harbour. Gulls were everywhere, almost all were just sitting around. Despite there being no breeze at all, biting bugs were totally absent. They may have all flown over to Parrsboro because that's where we ran into them, in amazing numbers.
Taken with my first digital camera, a Kodak DC4800, a nice pocket sized 3.1 MP point & shoot. At around $700 when I bought it, I was very pleased with the pics it turned out,,, no RAW files, but it did provide VERY nice tiff's.
I love these ducks but hard to ever find one close. The male looks like the people who paint house numbers on curbs painted his bill.

Era il tempo in cui, per ricevere una telefonata, occorreva stare a casa, alcune volte fissare il telefono, quasi per esortarlo a produrre quel driiin che spesso non arrivava mai...
Ever since Home Economics class in junior high school I've enjoyed adventures in the kitchen. And I prefer cooking before baking because the former is more forgiving, more flexible. A little of this, a pinch of that, a handful or two of something else, taste and adjust, done.
Baking, on the other hand, is not so flexible. This is when precise numbers make the difference between success and a gawd awful failure.
Today is overcast and drizzling, perfect for making bread. Although only five ingredients, they must be at a precise temperature and measurements to yield a beautiful pan of focaccia.

Week 30 Theme: Numbers
Note: if the group moderators think this is a stretch (and not just of dough!) to make the theme, I'll take it out of the weekly thread. :-)
