Smile on Saturday: Numbers
My birthday and my brother's are one week apart, so we celebrated it together. My mother didn't have the right numbers for the cake, so we decided to combine our ages, which greatly amused my niece and nephews. This was a caramel cake and it was delicious, if anyone is wondering.
The Roman Number C (= 100) derives from the Etruscan variant Ж (made of a right-hand open and left-hand open letter C) Under the Roman influence only the right-hand open C was kept and stands for the Latin word centum (= 100).

Madeira Funchal, l artists and city authorities gave rise to the idea of using the damaged and decaying door of the oldest street in the city - Rua de Santa Maria - as a work space for local painters and graphic designers.
I knew these beer caps would be useful one day !
This is almost 6cm.

Two of my trusty rules to get the size of the macros frames, one steel rule and the other an inside/outside caliper done in inches and mm which makes it super easy to convert inch to mm. This was an 1-5/8 inch frame or 41mm.

There was a large native population in Britain in the early part of the 19th century, but it disappeared before the 20th century, Recently, the Mazarine blue's numbers have been declining in its European range (particularly Scandinavia) and the reason remains unclear.

Willem II Straat, ter hoogte van huisnummers 13 en 15
De straat is genoemd naar koning Willem II, die graag in Tilburg verbleef en er een paleis heeft laten bouwen. Het paleis is nu in gebruik als stadhuis en wordt vooral gebruikt voor de raadsvergaderingen, het sluiten van huwelijken en voor representatieve doeleinden.

The street is named after King Willem II, who liked to stay in Tilburg and had a palace built there. The palace is now used as a town hall and is mainly used for council meetings, marriage ceremonies and for representative purposes.

Die Straße ist nach König Willem II. genannt, der gerne in Tilburg verblieb und dort einen Palast errichten ließ. Der Palast wird heute als Rathaus genutzt und hauptsächlich für Ratssitzungen, Hochzeitszeremonien und zu repräsentativen Zwecken genutzt.

Macro Mondays! Numbers and Letters are the theme for this week’s Monday. I loved to play BINGO when I was a kid!!
