When inserting yourself into the picture for some perspective, it's always a good idea to pay attention to what you look like from behind. In this case, I completely forgot about my hat, which I had turned around backwards so it wouldn't get in the way of the camera viewfinder.
An example of my handwriting, notetaking style and what I think is important to write down while hearing a lecture. Notice the backwards writing in upper left hand corner; I use both sides

family and friends always get the thrown together cake. I did this all today for Alices friend Karas party tonight. Her favourite colour is purple and she sings. Husband was strutting about in a bad mood slaming cupboard doors and grunting when I did the lines. Three year old perched himself next to me to "help" when I glued on the notes. The top teir is accually a dummy and thats another story involving a batch of ganache that refused to set! Kara loved her cake. It looks alot better in the real, The top cake and cupcakes have been sprinkled with magic sparkles which cant be seen in the photo
A note for Rachel. I love the raw edges and the fold creases (even though you can't see them in this pic since I'd just ironed it). I think they make it seem more like a real handwritten note.

The Bizzell Memorial Library is located at The University of Oklahoma (OU) in Norman, Oklahoma. It was built in 1928 in the Collegiate Gothic or Cherokee Gothic Style.
The library was built during the administration of OU's fifth president, William Bennett Bizzell. It is named in his honor.
Collegiate Gothic was an architectural style subgenre of Gothic Revival architecture, popular in the late-19th and early-20th centuries for college and high school buildings in the United States.
Cherokee Gothic is a term coined by Frank Lloyd Wright for the vernacular architectural style on OU's campus. He invented the term while on a tour of the campus.

For the second year running, I was entrusted with the most sacred task of preparing ang pows (red packets with a token sum of money that married couples give out to the juniors as part of their CNY well wishes for them) for Mum. These were to be given out to the young guests that would be gathering at our place over the CNY period.
Unlike last year when I was handed a stack of $2 notes, I was given $10 notes this time for the above-mentioned sacred task. A sign of recovery from the GFC perhaps?

The card game that we are playing is called "Rome". You get 13 cards, and it's a little like bridge. The aim of the game is try to play out all the cards out before anyone else or carry as little cards as possible. When one plays out all the cards, then, the rest will count their cards, as numbers. The coloured cards, include A are 10. A joker is 25.
Nb. The Galaxy Note 3 is already two generations old. I'm trying it out as a temp replacement measure for my Blackberry. I was wondering if I should take iPhone 6, 6 plus, or Samsung Galaxy S6 or s6 edge, or Note 4 or Note Edge. (and there is a rumour of Note 5 coming). Right now I'm tempted or Galaxy Note 4 or edge or whatever. My choosing criteria as a office work force, and email/Good Technology email as the key use.
