A collage of a few sketches I've drawn in my notebooks while sitting in class bored. I should probably be taking better notes in class though...

everything went wrong with this. It was supposed to just be a regular vhs notebook, but I cut the box too narrow, then I cut the paper too crooked. So it turned into a reporter notebook.
Same as the Funky Girl Notebook, except that the pages were not threaded. They were glued to the base. As for the cover, I have cut a frame and attached the Precious Moments girl to it. Stamped the words and put in some frame to make the xs stand out.

Cheryl became enamored with a "junque" journal video she saw and created a group for it. :o) Since I can't say no to Cheryl to save my life, here is my attempt. I haven't actually added anything to it yet because I have other projects with deadlines. LOL

L, a dear, talented, inspiring and brave contact and friend from home, posted some pages of one of her art notebooks and invited me to do the same in Artist's Books, her new group. I have so very little - all my pages are filled with only writing. But, just to keep her going, I'll share some of what I have.
New Year's Day 2003, Macau
Pousada de Coloane (hotel)
Gray gray cold windy morning
Tai Ji on the cold patio
Slow solitary breakfast watching
how the flags handle the wind
(The little hotel was above a small beach. Looking across the water is Taipa, another of Macau's islands. There where flags of so many nations being flown there these were the ones I could see from the window)
