There's really only one business block in Shawnigan Lake Village. At the main, village junction is located Subway at the southwest corner -- and in plain sight. The Village Chippery is located at the opposite (NE) corner of this business block -- at Wilmot and Dundas Avenues. Find it. You'll like it.
The Hereios of the We're Here group are shooting September today. Our nearest public footpath is currently quite enclosed, with a tall maize crop on one side and a hedgerow on the other. But it's okay, because the farmer has left a decent gap between crop and field boundary.
I've managed to avoid alphabetical order of performer, which would get me condemned as fundamentally unsociable and obsessive, but I do have to group them, if only to ensure that I don't buy the same CD twice. Yes, youngsters, these are compact discs. I remember starting to buy them because they sounded better and clearer than vinyl. Guess what? People have now been persuaded to shell out again because, it's said, vinyl actually sounded better all along.

In a marked departure from the usual frivolity, today the Hereios of the We're Here! group are taking serious hiking selfies.
Today the Hereios of the We're Here! group are celebrating joie de vivre. Sometimes Macey scratches the pergola because it's there. And she doesn't even care if there's a member of the Terracotta Army guarding it.
So on Saturday we went to COSTCO to pick up a few basic needs.
Paper towels, dishwasher soap pods, cheese, and basic stuff we use all the time. Of course Deb had to pick up these dog toys also. One is missing because the dogs spotted them when we walked in the door. So she handed out one right away.
But the big thing we wound up getting is a new phone for ME.
We didn't go there to get a phone but Deb just got a new Samsung Note 9 at work for her work phone and I wanted to take a look at it.
To make a long story short I walked out of the store with a new Note 9.
And this photo above is my first photo with it.
I have been on my computer trying to find out all the things I can do with it.. My old note was a Note 5, so a lot of improvements have been made since then.
So expect to see a lot of videos from me because this phone has a ton of video features.
Stay tuned.
Oh by the way the dog took the toy. Shook it a few times. Dropped it and hasen't picked it up since.
Snow in April is not unheard of here, though it is unusual. It's hard to believe that, just a few days ago, people were sunbathing in parks and on beaches.
Today the Hereios of the We're Here! group are enjoying Minor Urban Disasters.
Today the Hereios of the We're Here! group are risking the contention that "That's not a Still Life!"

Today the Hereios of the We're Here! group are shooting our own movie posters. This is not intended as a sick joke at JFK's expense (not that he's bothered, poor man).
