Continuing the story of the love life of our little mallard duck. Her partner and one survivor of the five hopefuls take up a strategic position after she has retired to the safety of the duckhouse for the night.
I was convincing myself that the waves were good enough to justify changing into the wetsuit and waxing the surfboard... I succeeded: small but very clean!
A field I walk past almost every day on the way to our village shop. It always looks tempting to take a photo but the result is usually disappointing. This morning the frost made it ust a bit more interesting.

Ilfracombe Harbour
I love being on or near the sea, so I couldn't resist taking a boat trip (or three) when I was staying near Ilfracombe. The cliffs of North Devon are really spectacular, as is the harbour itself when you approach it from the sea.
