Always a shock to find that the wall doesn't go down to floor level... but it does explain why water was coming through onto the kitchen floor.

We took a a walk into Ilfracombe. It has changed very little in the 40 odd years I have been visiting North Devon.

North Devon: Bob Scott took this picture from the top of Saunton Sand during the week where you could have the beach for yourself, of course it depends your luck. It’s also been known as a popular location for water sports enthusiasts and the surfing is great for beginners, and everybody's going board crazy as Devon's long relationship with surfing continues to go from strength to strength.
