The end of the day. The crane is still attached but everything is securely bolted together.

Surfer catches a wave at Croyde Bay in North Devon. I spent most of the day on the beach while my car was being serviced. A much harder subject to capture than I'd thought. 500mm mirror lens, hand held.

Checking the cut grass for prey.

Almost in place. The workman reaching out from the nacelle to the rotor gives a sense of scale.

Evening sunshine at Fremington Quay.

Part of the West Country Clickers Photowalk tour of North Devon, this is Morthoe cliff with I think Bull Point lighthouse in the background. Its a panorama of two shots hand held as this is half way up a cliff hence slight wobble in the background.

Raw>CS3>Topaz Detail 3

Seen across the valley from the churchyard. The only significant retouching has been to take most of the colour out as this then reflected the bitter coldness of the day as the mist rolled down from the moors.
