Sign post beside the River Test in Hampshire.

After leaving Anne Hathaway's Cottage behind, I went into Jubilee Walk.

Signs near the footbridge.

No dogs and Please do not stand on the fence signs.

It was built by The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, opened in 1977 during the Queen's Silver Jubillee.

Not all that we leave is lost.

Cleethorpes beach. Lock it up and spend an afternoon in the sun, sounds like a nice idea.

See where this picture was taken. [?]

Dogs aren't allowed to go to the Atlantic side of the beach because there are endangered birds. (And because they suck!) Also, they have an area fenced off to humans too.

BACKSTORY: Carolyn's family reunion was at Cape Cod this year. We stayed at the Chatham Bars Inn. It was a lot of fun, and we were happy to see everyone.

I haven't been keeping up to date with my non-dog pics, and it seems I haven't even been taking them some weeks, but I'm okay with that :-)

Check out this guys bottom row of choppers... Ha ha just noticed the sign behind. I'm a genius and didn't even know it.

At first, the "no nudies" caught my attention, but what's more interesting is how (relatively) unrelated these forbidden things are from each other.

You may also notice that I wanted to blurr the dogs and biking rules, but limited by f/2.8 I couldn't quite do it.

The beach at Wells-next-the-Sea

(From the photo album of my dad's Aunt Clara Huggins) Here are the three girls from an earlier posted photograph, taken on the same day, from October 1899. In the other photo, the girls have their overcoats on, and are sitting on a wheel-barrow with a cute dog - all with their eyes closed. Here they are standing in slightly different order, looking at the photographer. I would guess that this was taken either on a Sunday church day, or a special day at school. I can't tell if the girl on the right has a diamond-shaped belt buckle or a diamond-shaped pendant.

This photo was in bad shaped: warped, heavy photo paper; very faded; and with abundant apparent water/liquid damage, and other flaws. I photo-shopped as much as I could out, but there is still a fair amount of damage that affects the clarity of the photo.

I have tried to identify these girls using the 1900 US Federal Census, but since I don't know their relationship or the photo location, I can't really figure out who they are. I have some possibilities, but nothing definitive.

"Fuori in giardino dove abbiamo piantato i semi

c'è un albero vecchio come me

io mi sono aggrappato così forte come tu ti eri aggrappata a me

Perchè, ho costruito una casa

per te

per me

Fino a quando è scomparsa

da me

da te

E ora, è tempo di partire e ritornare alla polvere..

The Cinematic Orchestra

Well at least it did not include "NO Photography!"

Out and about trying to do some night photography, which was washed out later as you would have guessed.

Some dogs don't pay attention to apartheid-like signs. That's OK to me. This one wasn't digging, nor soiling the grass - just took a look and ran away.

BTW, a few meters away there was a mom helping her kid PEE in a similar garden. Will she be fined?

Day two hundred forty-one/365.

The word, "photos," on this sign, was added as an afterthought. So, we pulled on the middle of the strip that had been screwed on, and took a peek. Much to our amusement, we found that the sign had originally read, "dogs."

I was tempted to take my camera home and bring back my dachshund!

I was able to get somewhat close to this guy (or girl) because I didn't have my little (non)helper with me. I think it's eyes are very funny--sorta like a cartoon rabbit that's been surprised.

Please view large to have a closer look at its eyes!

Probably one of the best design features of the GS/3 is the back panel, and the updated GS logo.

Dog error 404: dog not found.

The store clerks I talked to sayd dogs were allowed. But it's confusing.

Shots from Sirmione in Lombardy, Italy, during our Lake Garda tour. Once I'd taken shots in Sirmione I was too tired to take any more, once I got back on the coach (we did pass through Peschiera del Garda and by Gardaland but didn't take any more shots).

A No Dog's sign in Sirmione.

Yep, I agree with sign. Sometimes We will encounter some nasty stinky boggs under the shoes!

I was testing my new Voightlander Nokton 40/1.4 lens. In my eyes , this lens is as sharp as Leica one! But Price is 1/4!!!

The formal park in the Park Estate, Nottingham – the photo taken from Nottingham Circus. The Park lies west of the Castle Rock and was developed from a royal hunting ground to become a suburban estate. From 1854 T.C Hine designed nearly 200 houses, mostly in brick.

At Kingston Lacy Estate, a National Trust run property with extensive gardens in Dorset. To the west of the town of Wimborne Minster.

It was home of the Bankes family, who's original seat was at Corfe Castle until it's destruction during the English Civil War. A new site was chosen by Sir John Bankes, but the house was eventually built by his son Ralph Bankes.

The last owner of Kingston Lacy - Henry John Ralph Bankes gave the estate to the National Trust after his death in 1981 (a seven times great grandson of original creator Sir Ralph Bankes).

Winter time in an empty Grove Park in Harborne.

I think some trees had been cut down on the right hand side path from Harborne Park Road.

I put this composite together for Down Under Challenge #419.

The target image (see below) was posted by Frank Bernard.

The photo of the dog is by Josh Plueger, which I got from Wikimedia

I took two shots of this scene and already published the other, tighter image. This was the wide shot. Tenby. Pembrokeshire. Wales. June 2019.

Loved all the Parisian street signs tucked away on buildings and fences. Great designs and font.

The good "Doctor" Gillian McKeith, "nutritionist", spotted in a health food shop window. Photoshopped at home.

My sincere apologies to the more genteel of my family and friends, I just couldn't help myself. Normal service will resume shortly.
