Combination of two Water Dragon sets (nr. 71754)
It's finally here! Another two-set combination build!
Ever since the Jungle Dragon was such a succes, I wanted to upgrade the Water Dragon as well. It took some time, cus the order took litteraly 2,5 months, but better late then never right? ;p
Anyways, please enjoy these pictures of the Ninjago Water Dragon.

Built for the TBB Ninjago City collaboration at BrickCon 2018. The original set is one of my favorites of all time, and I had a lot of fun building a tribute. This tiny urban seaside park harbors a grand pagoda built over a sea cave. There is a flower market in the canal, and the levels above include a teahouse, maritime supply store, eel stand, cafe, and mini mart. All have full interiors.

In the heart of the Ninjago Training Grounds, Master Wu commended Kai for completing a rigorous training phase.
Sweating but determined, Kai bowed to his sensei. In a symbolic gesture, Master Wu presented him with the Ember Blade, a katana with a sleek, polished blade and a handle adorned in shimmering gold.
"The Ember Blade is a symbol of your growth," Master Wu explained. "May it aid you in your journey."

Do you have a secret base when you were a child? Today I’m bringing a new forest scene with the Ninjago gang. I haven’t done much nature scenes with bricks before, it’s quite a challenge building a giant tree this time. The scene is inspiring by the hollow tree in Stanley park, Vancouver. Do you want to play with your friends in a secret base like this? Hope you guys enjoy.

This head mold is definitely one of my favorites. I wasn't quite sure about the teal at first, but now I can't get enough of it. For the wings I wanted to try something different, I'm quite satisfied with how they turned out
This was the first lego dragon I ever bought, and the first I started to upgrade. Over the years it has seen many changes, this is v20, or something like that

My modified version of the Lego Oni Titan from Lego Ninjago Set 70658. I initially did not plan to get this set but somehow the look of it grew on me and i caved in. And i am glad i got this set.
And I am very happy with how the mod turned out! Even more happy with this set now. What i got rid off are the blue parts and swapped them with purple, added more rock type slopes and pieces to give it the rock golem look :D

Round 2 of Iron Forge, seed part is the tap piece.
In this scene, i wanted to capture the classic Aquanauts atmosphere and combine it with Ninjago to go along with the current line in stores, in which the Ninja go under water.
An innocent Aquanaut Explorer is under attack by an Aquashark thug, luckily Jay is there for the rescue

This time round its a mod of the Lego Ninjago Movie Fire Mech set 70615. The official version is very beautifully design i must say but lacking in the necessary articulation that i find is a must for my mech. So tackled some of the issues of the sagging arms, gave a waist rotation and overhauled the lower half! Mod vid on youtube as well ^^ youtu.be/m2pveT7bUhw
For the Lego exhibition Steinewahn (10th anniversary), some of us at Roguebricks wanted to do something special, so we built a Ninjago City as a collaboration of 9 builders. It won 1st price more than once^^
