Running from the Temple of Airjitzu trough the misty woods.

Was trying some customizations with my Ninjago figures. Pretty happy about how this one came out. 😃

And next we have a fine piece of modern art by the fabled Briki Bricksmith.

Ninjago style mixed with "5th Element"

True, it only appeared for a few minutes in the show, but this little station besides the train tracks leading to Stiix was a great way to fill out an empty spot in Kai and my NINJAGO collab, so here it is!

More NINJAGO builds to come from our end soon (well, from mine at least, Kai's almost uploaded all of hers already, haha)! You can check out all the pics as I upload them, here, and Kai's sections in this album.

Thanks for viewing, C&C welcome as always!

I was thinking of doing something different, but the glasses were begging to be speederized :D

first full size picture of it, it still needs work but it's getting there

Combination of two jungle dragon sets (nr. 71746)

I bought two of these mostly because of the color 'Teal', which I had none of. While building the set, I really felt like I could make an upgrade if I combine the two, so I did it.

Only with a small number of my own parts (ball joint connectors and mixeljoint connecters) I only used the parts of the actual sets, which was a fun challenge for myself.

I got rid of the wings, mainly because I didn't like them on the set and a wingless jungle dragon fits more in my view.

Hope you enjoy these shots, I definitely did!

I love the Ninjago City set but not the Ninjago theme -- What am I supposed to do?

The answer is: download the three booklets' worth of instructions and improvise the design into a monster-themed version (with a few scraps saved from other modular buildings). The result took about two weeks to slap together and eats up half my bricks, but that's the price you pay for pure sex.

Welcome to the Hands of Time's blacksmith's shop, worked by none other but Kai's infamous father himself. Well, at least, if you don't know what happened you may think of it like that, hahaha - if you have, you already know all the hows and whats and becauses of it all, XP

And, I'm back into my NINJAGO groove already, haha! Here's my "Legacy version" of the Dragon's Forge set - which, I must admit right off the bat, was already an epic set in the first place! But you know, the interior could have really used some spicing up, if nothing else... *wink*

I hope to have some more pics coming pretty soon (when it finally decides to stop raining, hehe). Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome as always!

Oops Ma, I broke the couch again.

Snacks time! Today I’m sharing my new project, and that’s my favorite theme - Ninjago city MOC build, featuring an oden restaurant on a floating ship. Oden is a very tasty snacks from Japan, and extremely popular in Asia, if you are looking for something hot in your stomach during the cold nights. This is by far the biggest and tallest physical brick scene I have ever done. I think my last Ninjago city build was like two years ago already, and the building process was enjoyable as always.

At first I only wanted to build a floating ship inspired by traditional Chinese junk boats, and I ended up building a city scene behind it as a background, well, it really took me long enough for the whole scene. There are two building parts for the city, not much of fancy technics but lots of graphics and details.

It’s not that easy to make things floating in the air, so I used some polyester batting to simulate the clouds, and it turned out better than I thought. After some editing magics in Photoshop, the ship is floating!

Zoom in to see what kind of funny stuffs you can find in this scene. I’m saving the these building for future projects, and I have couple ideas that how I can combine new builds in it, and maybe expand it. Stay tuned! And please check out my building process video if you would like to see the whole build and detail design, link in bio, consider subscribing! I’m very appreciate that you support my work!

Happy weekend!

Here is a little MOC I made for Brick Fanatics some time ago, you can find the instructions for it here!

Taking a moment to enjoy the visual splendor of Ninjago. Uspez and I were saying how awesome the Ninjago designs have been over the years. There's undead skeletons, ghosts, tons of wicked snakes, a Cobra Serpentor dude, cyborgs aplenty, Soul Reavers, Thulsa Doom armour, Road Warriors and now neon cyberpunks. I only own a couple of these but I'm started to go back and pick up cheap ones that I missed over the last nine years.

NB: all these photos are from Bricklink.

After last year’s passion project, this year’s annual MOC is back to the tradition of being a contest entry, but that doesn’t make it any less exciting of a project! Like I said in the teaser, this may very well be the most ambitious project I have ever worked on… unsurprisingly so, as the whole point of this series is to keep challenging myself to up my game as a builder!

As some of you may be aware of, this statue is my entry to the contest on LEGO Ideas, celebrating 10 years of the amazing LEGO IP, NINJAGO. As soon as I saw the contest topic, I had the vision of creating one giant statue to capture all the exciting adventures our ninja heroes have had over the past decade. However, I must also confess that I personally never paid too much attention to the TV series nor the storyline of NINJAGO, and therefore I had to binge all 14 seasons, 160 episodes of the show in preparation to create this model, making sure that I get the characters and stories right, such that when a NINJAGO fan sees it, he/she will be truly impressed. Ironically, by the end of this journey, I have turned myself into a NINJAGO fan as well, and now I simply can’t wait for the next season!

As a NINJAGO fan, you will be able to find references to every single season within this model, even a minor Easter egg of a micro Dareth, the Brown Ninja, on the Destiny’s Bounty, as a call back to his claim of being represented by a brown spot on the Monastery Mural on the show.

Over the years, many people have been asking me why I never use minifigures in my builds, so I thought this may also be a great opportunity to finally make an annual MOC involving tons of minifigs, without compromising of the artistic style of my builds. This also led to the idea of building some brick-built big-figs to diversify my composition, which is also something that I have always wanted to build. In addition, if you have been following my work, you may know that I have always wanted to create poster-like visuals with my composition, and I would argue that this is the most successful attempt so far in this aspect!

Last but not least, I am very proud to say that I have only spent 7 days on this build, which is significantly faster than the previous annual MOCs that took 2 to 3 months… yet the size of this thing towers over any of the previous entries! It was such an exhilarating experience to see my vision and sketches come alive within such short period of time. Now… what is it gonna be next year? 🤔

Recently, I helped out with a series of vignettes based on the new Ninjago Movie minifig series for Brick Fanatics. It was a fun project, and I got to work with some other great builders, such as frequent collaborator Daniel Konstanski.

Fun fact. The Lego designers came up with an alphabet code for the Ninjago movie, and the writing on this particular poster reads "Dojo Wu"

The Jungle Dragon is a really cool set itself, but also for the parts in that dark turquoise color. But the real fun for me was when I built this mech with those bricks 😁. TUTORIAL on my channel: youtu.be/E5RxNxGFBsQ
