not what i had in my head...but i nearly got blown away on the roof top and someone had parked a single solitary car up there...wtf. A purple mini too!? Geeez...anyways. Taken with the 14-24mm 2.8 that i've kindly been loaned.
Scary hen that was everywhere we went when on holiday (our first as a family - yay) earlier this year!
sam was just sitting there minding her own buisness, and then these 3 dudes come up and they make her a full fledged ninja. now she's stuck doing missions, and ninja things. she just wanted to sit back and retire peacefully.
sweet, if i was an actual ninja, i'd look like that. lol.
Top night out at Padley Gorge with Rich "Ninja" Knowles. The shot I'd originally planned was a complete failure but I did manage to nab this 4 way bridge rotation which I'm quite happy with.
Completely shot out camera minus a crop and a slight contrast tweak.
Decided to name the babies, unisex names as I dunno who's a boy or a girl.
Ninja, on the left, not showing her face, got stripes from her beak to the eyes. Baby has a fuzzy yellow face and Beaky on the right has a dark beaky.
They were all surrounded by mum, dad and the extended family. They were very protective. I kept my distance as I did not want to disturb them.

Yes, that's a ninja costume. I originally wanted a photo of just Remy flying through the air but liked this shot better than the image I had in mind.

There were at least a dozen of these Pectoral Sandpipers feeding in close proximity but still a little territorial dispute arose when the one on the left approached the 'ninja' sandpiper.
