This Common Frog, just surfaced, with weed wrapped over his head, which looks like a precision made mask. The golden glow to the water, was caused by a sand bank, in the background. Taken on a dull day in Norfolk.

Cute little ninjas spread in fighting poses with different weapons,along the back wall of a house near a market.
Lst summer, weather was oppressive heat and I found a tiny baby mantis on my window. I decided to put regularly big ice cubes in order to provide fresh water. A few months after, this ninja mantis was watching me at the same place, I hope it was the same one...
I watched with some amusement as the Pink-eared Ducks' antics unfolded. This particular scene involved them pushing one of the intruders under the water.

Today in the garden: The decaying watergrasses in the pond contrast to the background sunlight.
The vintage Carl Zeiss 2.8 180mm "Olympia"-Sonnar shows its typical "ninja star bokeh" which is characteristic for this type of Zeiss lenses with its 8 blades when stopped down to 4.0 or 5.6 and is of course just seen against backlight.
