Sorry for uploading these so late, but I was bedridden with the flu. Which is also why I only took 3 photos of Nimbus at work - I had to leave early. I hope you enjoy these few pictures anyways!
Having seen KU52 YLH take its place during the middle of the day, Buses Excetera KX03 HZU returned to the 73 during the afternoon.
It's seen here in Ormonde Road, bound for Woking.
This was acquired alongside sister KX03 HZE. HZU was repainted relatively quickly, however, HZE remains in service in allover London red.
Ormonde Road, Horsell, Woking, Surrey.

Tava numa vibe meio...
A nimbus or halo is not a sundog. Sundogs appear 22 degrees left and right of the sun and are quite common. Rarely seen, however, is the halo or nimbus. Essentially the same thing, they're created sunlight (or moonlight) gets refracted by ice crystals in the stratosphere. When we got back to the Research Center for lunch, I looked to the sky and was completely stunned at what I saw. I was moved almost to tears.
Uma bela formação (Cumulus Nimbus?), um verdadeiro mar de nuvens. Fotografada a 10 mil metros de altitude / A beautifull cloud formation (Cumulus Nimbus?). A real sea of clouds. Picture taken at 30.000 feets above sea level.
A shot of a lighted Nilavilakku at my home. Malayalam month of Karkitakam begins today. It is a long tradition to recite Ramayana in front of a lighted Nilavilakku in the evenings for the entire month.

Taken from the box base:
"Eric Wert (American, b.1976)
'Nimbus', 2019
Seeming to glow from within, Eric Wert's 'Nimbus' revels in fine detail, from the petals of the toppled arrangement to the fabric wrinkled by stitches in the background embroidery. Wert started his career as a scientific illustrator, and this 1000-piece puzzle shows off his style of visually intense, sensually charged still lifes that are anything but still."
This beautiful Pomegranate puzzle was a surprisingly loose fit, probably the first time I've noticed this in one of their puzzles. It's one of the more recent additions to their range so that may be the reason I've not experienced it before, but it didn't mar my pleasure one jot. More worrying was the constant fear of there being a missing piece - they were loose inside the box and the box itself had scruffy tape marks, often an indication that the previous owner didn't take much care. In fact it turned out to be complete although a couple of pieces were slightly worn.
