It was a cloudy day im in search of birds in Nilgiris Parks when I'm in search of birds I saw this bird carrying food materials so I followed this blue beauty without disturbing suddenly he sat on a Branch and I heard of Chick call so I decided to observe it without disturbing he sat near the nest and fed its chick I took few photos without disturbing the bird and its nest .

This Western Ghats endemic was photographed during a natural history oriented guided to the ecoregion in Feb 2024. Location: Periyar Tiger Reserve

It is not the destination only but the journey that counts also.

From Bandarban hill town you can go to see Nil Giri ( Blue mountain, a mere 2500 ft hill, but remember, Bangladesh is mainly a flat land, on the delta of the Bay of Bengal). It keeps a distance of approximately 50 kilometers from Bandarban town and 25 kilometers from Chimbuk hill. It is located near Jiban Nagar while making a journey towards Thanchi Upazilla. A two hours drive may easily be extended if you take your time to enjoy the scenic beauty on the road side.

The road is mainly uphill, serpentine through the hills and picturesque. Sometimes sunny, sometimes cloudy and if you are lucky sometimes you can actually touch the clouds.
