At the summit of Mt Chief in British Columbia, my friend took this photo of me with the surrounding mountains in the background. It was a hell of a climb and a good ascent that we had to try twice since a few days prior our other friend wound up vomiting halfway up. It was mostly because she hadn't eaten, which we promptly made sure she did before attempting the ascent again! © 2011-Current.

Spring is already upon us here in Iceland and I realized I wanted to post some of those pictures long ago but never managed time for it!
A lovely early morning of late october by the lake Mývatn in North Iceland. Crispy air, -10°C temperatures and that lovely thin layer of snow to add some winter tones to the ensemble.
Work and family have kept me away a bit from photography in the last years but I can still be amazed and ready to capture some nice instants of nature :)

This trail loops around an area of slickrock where there are numerous potholes. These basins in the sandstone retain water after storms. The trail offers great views of The Needles in the distance. The trailhead is located along the Big Spring Overlook road in the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park, Utah, near the end of the road. The trail informs visitors about the little shrimp that thrive in the potholes of the slickrock when they are full of water.
