“I must have flowers always, and always.” — Claude Monet #ToujoursEtToujours 💐

📷 Photo captures a rainbow palette of Texas springtime wildflowers, with a bright red Indian Paintbrush (Castilleja coccinea) at the front and center. There’s no denying the fact that Bluebonnets get most of the attention, and rightfully so, but I think these fluorescent Paintbrushes may be my personal favorite. (Subject to change, because I’m terrible at making firm decisions #LibraProblems)

Unterwegs beim Weihnachtsbesuch zu Hause.
Manchmal hat man einfach Glück mit dem Wetter. Umso besser, wenn man so gut wie immer eine Kamera dabei hat, um dann damit etwas anzufangen.
There is no such thing as inaccuracy in a photograph. All photographs are accurate. None of them is the truth. ˜Richard Avedon
Half Dome from Glacier Point in Yosemite National Park during sunset. Removed from the park but worth the drive. Shot with Canon 5D mark 3
With temperatures dancing around the freeze mark & light fog lifting at the sun's warm touch, this secluded hilltop pond was the perfect place to catch the first light of day -- the perfect place to stand in awe of Mother Nature's extravagant Autumn display. To witness this gorgeous show up here in the northeastern corner of the U.S., is truly a special experience! | Macedonia Brook State Park, CT

Double Arch is a close-set pair of natural arches, one of the more known features of Arches National Park in Utah, United States.
When I wanted to explore the Canadian Rockies, I stayed in a town called Canmore, south of Banff, Alberta. This was one of my favorite locations in and around town where Rundle Forebay Reservoir reflected the pristine and awesome view of Ha Ling and Miner's Peak. Positively stunning! © 2013-Current.
“Well! I’ve often seen a cat without a grin,” thought Alice; “but a grin without a cat!? It’s the most curious thing I ever saw in my life!” 🌙💜💖😸

📷: Photo captured on a crisp November morning, literally just footsteps from my (current) front door in Tennessee. The sun was moments away from breaking the horizon, casting her vibrant colors across the sky, as if celebrating another glorious rising. Birds dipped across the frost-bitten fields, broadcasting the renewal of daylight. Just ten minutes ago I was snuggled in bed, warm & asleep. My body shivered now, I could see my breath. I rubbed my eyes, in hopes to accelerate the “waking up” process. Directly overhead, seemingly watching this scene awaken, a thin sliver of moon glowed like a Cheshire Cat grin through the painted streaks of clouds. I blinked a few more times to clear my vision, then lifted my camera to eye level, and proceeded to get lost in the beauty of the morning... 😍

2016|| Leave nothing but footprints. Take nothing but pictures. Kill nothing but time.|| I wish quotes weren’t so lame, but my goodness is it relevant. These moroccan landscapes are timeless and stunning.

The Annapurna Circuit is a trek within the mountain ranges of central Nepal. The total length of the route varies between 160–230 km (100-145 mi), depending on where motor transportation is used and where the trek is ended. This trek crosses two different river valleys and encircles the Annapurna Massif. The path reaches its highest point at Thorung La pass (5416m/17769 ft), reaching the edge of the Tibetan plateau. Most trekkers hike the route anticlockwise, as this way the daily altitude gain is slower, and crossing the high Thorong La pass is easier and safer.
The mountain scenery, seen at close quarters includes the Annapurna Massif (Annapurna I-IV), Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, Pisang Peak, and Paungda Danda. Numerous other peaks of 6000-8000m in elevation rise from the Annapurna range.
From last week, mid-deep-freeze in Central Texas. I took a few mini-adventures around the yard while we passed the time in between huddling around a tiny propane heater and waiting for power to come back on. Clearly, ice-glazed things became my muse, forcing me to slow down and take in all of the small details of the freeze, and leaving me with beautiful souvenirs of what was otherwise a terrible experience. Nothing like Mother Nature to keep you humble about basic necessities. All’s well that ends well. 😅❄️
📷 Image captures Crape Myrtle (Lagerstroemia spp) branches completely encapsulated in ice, while more sleet continues to come down.

Still dwelling on Texas' many rounds of springtime blooms... it was difficult to keep count as the palette seemed to constantly change. As if the preceding Bluebonnet bloom wasn't enough of a show, the final discharge of Firewheels set the Texas landscape aflame, sure to leave spectators in awe! 🔥
: :
Photo captures a crowded field of Firewheel flowers (Gaillardia pulchella) dancing in the warm sunlight of a May afternoon. All the same, but all unique. Some taller, some shorter. Some in bloom, some expired, and some have yet to begin. Individual differences, collective beauty. 💫
