This is a group collaboration collage some friends and I made for the purpose of making cards for Amma's Circle of Love letters.
I ran 18 miles today. These runs are getting more and more difficult. I have reached a point where putting one foot in front of the other takes as much mental and emotional strength as it takes physical strength. I have never been in this place before. Training for the 1/2 marathon that I did in November was so much easier. It didn't tax my emotional energy. It didn't require me to dig as deep or push as hard. It was a challenge, but it was nothing like this. In fact, I've never done anything like this.
It scares me. I find myself looking for excuses to quit; reasons to stop; ways to get out of it. But, I just keep reminding myself that challenge is good. This experience is worth it. And, I am not a quitter.

As the clock entered the final minutes, the score remained undecided. Floodlights illuminated the stadium while thousands of fans held their breath. Then the ball found Riley.
She accelerated.
Every step was calculated, every movement refined through years of dedication. Grass and dust exploded beneath her boots as defenders watched helplessly while she surged forward. Under the brilliant stadium lights, she looked less like a player and more like a force of nature.
This wasn't just a run.
It was the moment when courage met preparation.

Riley wasn't playing for fame. She wasn't playing for headlines. She was playing for that single moment when time slows down, instincts take over, and dreams become reality.
And that night, she became the heartbeat of the stadium.

The roar of the stadium drowned out everything else. Thousands of fans held their breath as Riley took control of the ball deep in her own half. The rain-soaked pitch reflected the floodlights, and every drop seemed frozen in time.
This was the moment she had trained for her entire life.
One feint. Another burst of speed. Opponents faded behind her as she charged forward with relentless determination. Her eyes were fixed on a single goal—the net ahead. Every stride was a battle against fatigue, pressure, and the weight of expectations.
As the stadium erupted, Riley proved that champions are not made under the spotlight. They are forged through countless unseen hours of dedication and sacrifice.
Because sometimes, one sprint can change everything.
Everyone sees the fight inside the ring. Very few see the hours spent beyond the spotlight.
It is here, between the ropes, when the gym falls quiet, that true strength is built. Riley doesn't train to prove something to others. She trains to become a better version of herself every single day.
Every drop of sweat tells a story of dedication. Every stretch prepares her for the next challenge. Every moment of exhaustion reminds her why she started.
Looking back over her shoulder, she isn't focused on the past. She's simply measuring how far she has come.
Because the greatest opponent is never the person standing across from you. It's the version of yourself you refuse to become again.
