Well we made it!! When I made the decision to do 12 Months for Dogs with Jane, a large part of me didn't think she make it to the end of the project due to her failing health. I am sooo happy have these 12 months to show that she made it!
I thought this was a great photo to end the year - Jane STILL mooching for food, still with the sparkle in her eye, though her little body is much more frail that 12 months ago - she is still the same dog. Taken on Christmas day (yes, we have no snow - it was +12C that day!!!), our whole family went out to the Coulees for a walk - even Jane who was carried most of the way in her bag (see the next photos in my stream).
Thanks everyone for all the kind words and comments over the year, we are looking forward to 2012 ... whatever it may bring!
Recently I have found a new passion - #Flying planes. I'm working towards my private #pilot license. Initially it was very overwhelming, but now when I fly, I feel peaceful. As if playing music on a #guitar - my other passion. Since I was a kid, I wanted to play finger style guitar. Finally, about a year ago, I started learning #classical guitar and I’m just loving it. If I do not play the guitar for few hours, I feel uneasy. I like the #creativity associated with music and guitar playing. This is the same sense of creativity I feel while I write #smartphone #apps for work. I have been passionate about technology and I have experienced the #mobile revolution happen. I still remember the day when I was in 10th grade in India when our first landline phone arrived at home! We have definitely come a long way and there is still a long way to go.
I feel happy that my eagerness, as a kid to learn music has continued to grow into a passion. I also feel extremely lucky to have landed in a job in technology that I’m totally fascinated about and finally, I’m happy to have been able to pursue my new found obsession about flying.
