A diptych with two portraits and expressions of my beloved Micro. A warrior who won his battle for Life. My tiny hero!
(If you zoom in you will realize his right size, the magnification shows him just a little bit bigger than he is in reality).
At present, Dec. 16, he is still in the process of weaning, still eats the baby food but finally begun to eat seeds too.
By his two-monthly Birthday, he should be totally weaned and reach full authonomy in eating, at least I hope so.
Here in both photos, shot 1 week ago, it can be seen how two of his left fingers are thorn upside down an one is below the others and not flat as it should be, his right leg is turned towards right but until few weeks ago it was thorn backwards while, from Dec. 8, it spontaneously turned forward.
He made additional progresses and right now his both legs are tight and almost in the correct position. As already said in my previous up-loads, now Micro can walk very well, although a lil bit like a tiny duck, he learnt to grab and climb with the left leg too where the two ok fingers seem to be sufficient to allow him to stand on perches. When he risks to fall, his wings help him recovering the right balance because...
YES, now Micro can fly !!

"I survived because the fire inside burned brighter than the fire around me. Waging war against good people is bad for the soul. This may not seem important to you now, but it's the most important thing I've said. In a world filled with misery and uncertainty, it is a great comfort to know that, in the end, there is light in the darkness." ~ Joshua Graham
The accompanying photo "I Survived" (with proof that there is light in the darkness wink emoticon) was posted earlier than intended after I saw the JG quote last night on clarity.advising on Instagram.
Also, two friends especially enjoyed the JG and Lenny K quotes so I found one more apt JG quote, which I placed above and have included my all-time fave below:

Sometimes life knocks you on your ass... get up, get up, get up!!! Happiness is not the absence of problems, it's the ability to deal with them!

Taken with a Fujifilm X100F. Such a joy not to be carrying around the DSLR.

It's hard to believe that there's snow so close to the equator in Tanzania, but when you consider that Mount Kilimanjaro stretches 19,341 feet in the air, it becomes more comprehensible. Not only is there snow, there are fields of ice and infamous glaciers that attract tourists from every part of the world.

Location : Biwa Lake , Shiga Prefecture, Japan
I walk and walk and walk under rain till I finally reach a convenient store to get myself an umbrella and a hot coffee. It was a nasty weather with strong wind and rain from the passing clouds.
Was wet drenched and there were a train station nearby which I can call it a day but I pressed on to explore more of the beauty of Biwa Lake, all by foot.
I will back again to this lake soon to further explore more on what I had left behind.

Hi There!
When captioning this image, I have no idea why, but what came to mind was the song "Climb Every Mountain," from the quintessential movie, "The Sound of Music." I suppose the Painted Lady might look like it's succeeded in getting to the peak of the Butterfly Bush! Never give up!
From my fall 2017 Archives when Winnipegers saw an influx of Painted Lady butterflies.
Thank you so much for viewing, your comments and faves, so appreciated! Have a great day with many photo ops!
