Sketchnotes of a session facilitated by Pete Rorabaugh and Andrea Rehn on #TvsZ, a Twitter game designed to develop digital literacy and networked learning skills.
The full day conference on November 12, 2010 focused on growth experiences and opportunities for enterprising women. Over 100 women attended the event.
The conference participants were engaged in learning from a panel discussion of women business owners moderated by the editor and associate publisher of PROFIT Magazine, Ian Portsmouth. The panelists: Shelley Fleckenstein, Kings Physiotherapy Clinic Ltd., New Minas, NS; Tamara Barker Watson, Whitestone Developments, Halifax, NS; and Lilia Fraser, Pumphouse Brewery., Moncton, NB who shared best practices and challenges during their business growth.
The delegates also took away valuable information from our workshop speaker Cheryl Cran such as generational differences in the workplace, upcoming trends, national and international resources, as well as ample time for networking with fellow business owners and business support providers. Luncheon speaker Susan Baka discussed five key ways that entrepreneurs can fuel the growth of their businesses. Photos by Rebecca Clarke Photography
