These are some of the snow covered trees in my yard and the neighbors. We had our first snowfall of the season and got over 3" of heavy wet snow.

digging deep in the archives again...got nothing new..But we will be heading up this way again soon.

A popular campground and day-use area, Cape Lookout is located on a sand spit between Netarts Bay and the ocean. This scenic park is a destination for hiking, beachcombing and visiting sites along the Three Cape Scenic Route.

During World War II, an Army Air Force B-17 bomber struck the cape while on coastal patrol on August 1st, 1943. It took a full day for rescue crews to reach the sole survivor. A plaque in memory of the air crew is located on the cape trail.

We did an overnight camping trip here where the grandkids hit the beach and stayed there until sunset. The campground is very nice with nice amenities. The weather was perfect.

I considered bumping up the colors and contrast to make it more dramatic, but I kept returning to the original colors.

Abstract....

This kitty was an unexpected visitor in my yard for about two weeks. She would show up in the morning and hang out all day. I think her owners finally decided they needed to keep better track of her. I haven't seen her in almost a week now.

So different to me to be surrounded by so many different shades of green...it is beautiful and refreshing to see....especially now that everything around here is brown.

Had totally forgotten about this one...was searching for something to post...tired of most of what I have left now..

I really wish the hubby would take me away to explore some new place....sigh :-)

Do not go where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail ...
