Stunt biking in Poughkeepsie park isn’t always successful! Caught with Olympus mirrorless camera. Processed with several apps on my iPad.

As I was looking outside my window, I spotted this female Purple finch sitting on a lilac branch during the snowstorm Saturday. She was taking a break from all of the activity at the feeders.

I took this early in the morning as the snow was still falling. It was our first official snowstorm and we got 7" of snow between yesterday and today. These are Norway spruce cones.

I was out taking photos this morning after a light snowfall overnight. I saw Snoopy high up in the old pine tree coming down from one of its favorite spots. Lucky for Snoopy, I did put some peanuts out right before that. Does this squirrel look like it needs anymore to eat? They're all wearing their winter coats the past few months.

Better on black...
The fire of love that burns his heart
a year, two years
still burning ...
its warmth
can still decorate family ...
is the fire of love
which can feel cool ...
because the dew ..
and the wind that passes by ....
always singing a song of peace
when we fight ....
love fire in the Sahara Desert
still full of mystery ...

I was on my back porch today and noticed how the sun was shining down and illuminating the forsythia. I decided to get a few photos before the sun changed direction. The flowers remind me of yellow stars.

I was going through my older frost files and found one I'd like to share. I always thought how unique frost can be. From what I recall, most of that porch window had a thicker type of frost on it. I focused on a much smaller frosty design framed by that. You can see the snow in the yard and some evergreen trees in the background. Of course there was blue sky that day too.

No texture was added. I think the frost has it's own texture.
