Just about every small shop and resturant we went into there was a resident cat around. Very friendly creatures they were too, coming up to you to get their head scritched. l couldn't help but think...never in America would you see this...

I do hope they wash off the table as soon as the kitty gets tired of looking out the window....lol

I have combined two Kreative People source images and tortured them to abstraction for TMI’s ITSO challenge, Abstract Art.

Thanks to skagitrenee for use of the photos I’ve copied into the 1st comment box below. You can play with them, too! Join the fun at Treat This, through Thursday, August 3rd.

Precetto marinista

the only way to kill Hyde is to kill himself, so "Je Kill" , and he commits a suicide

This gorgeous shot was taken from Cape Lookout Viewpoint, located just south of Netarts Bay and Oceanside, Oregon. Although that is its official name, it's also been called Anderson's View Point and Gammon Launch. I couldn't find the significance of Anderson, but Gammon Launch is named for Dick Gammon, a Pioneer Hang Glider Pilot who died in 2009 hang gliding off this bluff.

As you can plainly see, on a clear day, you can almost see forever! Such a marvelous expanse! Now, if I had been thinking, this would have made a terrific spot for taking sunset pics! But alas, that'll have to wait for another time! Hope you enjoy!

In the years 2008 to 2010 , I tried to paint what I heard , saw and felt, when listening to J.S.Bach.

The fugues fascinated me, above all. In this photostream you can see

It's Cape Lookout, located about 10 miles south-west of Tillamook.

The beach is first-rate but the Pacific Ocean never really warms up, so wading is left to the younger adventurers.

The road leaves the little town of Netarts and follows the coast to the even smaller village of Oceanside, it's terraced hillsides and bluffs home to covetous views of the great Pacific expanse. On a warm september evening after a day of rain, the skies were still leaden and I wandered the beach looking but not seeing, until the scene seemed to fall in place. At low tide the surf line was way out, and a mist of sea spray hung in the air, blending gray into gray that would have obscured the horizon if not for the stacks offshore. Three Ach Rocks stand huddled and defiant in turn, deceptively big enough to think you could walk up and touch them, just out beyond the far berm that the waves were beating against, even though they were a half mile away. In front of me, a maze of sand riffles, with moats of water between, were subtly drawing me out to the mystery line, oceanside.
