Pretty much SOOC...did a bit of sharpening....and of course fixing my horizion since I can never get it straight...it was a beautiful, magical evening..

With Father's day approaching...I dedicate this to my dad...gone for 16 years now, with a song that he loved, played often, and now I love too...and I never get tired of hearing it...can listen to it over and over again....please take the time to listen...

And a early Happy Father's Day wish to all of the dads out there....hope you all have a great one.

A little color to brighten the day!

Thanks to Arrowlakelass and Ann Carrington, I now know thie is a Virginia Creeper, most unusual around here.

precipita dai clivi.

Canto

Gorgoglii sommessi

Su dura pietra

Legni morti

Odorosi di muschio

Felci sul tuo cammino

Umido mattino

D'autunno inoltrato

Dondolii di secchi rami

Richiamo d'uccelli

Sei l'acqua che passa

Sei come la donna che passa

Portando con se le ultime foglie

Dell'oramai morto autunno

Late for the Sky...Album "For a Dancer" song

A song by Jackson Browne

A lone sailing vessel heads into the eastern sky at sunset. They are heading past Anastasia State Park at the Atlantic Ocean Inlet for St Augustine, FL, USA. Looks like a sweet night on these calm seas...

Yup, we have had enough rain to for the year. In a good rain year, this creek flows over the road, closing the road for a day, maybe 2...but this year it has been closed for 4 days now. And finally after 10 hours of constant rain, the sun showed it's face. They are saying the worst is over...hope so. But we are lucky compared to the landslides, fallen trees and floods that other cities in the Bay Area have had.

There is nothing so good that can not be improved ...

"Better late than never!" That's what me ol' granpappie used to say after rinsing his dentures. HBW everyone!

“Whenever we think we know the future, even for a second, it changes. Sometimes the future changes quickly and completely. And we’re left only with the choice of what to do next. We can choose to be afraid of it, to stand there, trembling, not moving, assuming the worst that can happen. Or we step forward into the unknown and assume it will be brilliant.” ― Christina Yang (Grey’s Anatomy).
