I've been wanting to do this shoot a few months now and we decided to finally get out and try some test shots so as I can start thinking about some more ideas for the upcoming pictures ill be doing with him :) !
Strobist info : Nikon SB900 bare camera right, Canon 580EX II camera left shot through octagonal softbox. ( oh and I was sitting ON my reflector lol)

I gave in and purchased the storytelling/trivia/fortune telling Yoda. What a nerd! heh. He's cool, but don't play with one if you don't want him to tell you exactly what happens in Revenge Of The Sith!
Who doesn't enjoy a good movie, especially with those super cool red/blue 3D glasses.

Part of the first batch of internet meme embroidery. I'm thinking of working these in to a big quilt or wallhanging (with blocks made to look like computers). Each is about 4" by 6". Blogged.

Like stated before, nice cool and creamy white,
Is not so handy if you’re in a lions sight.
Totally black , in Africa’s sun awfully hot,
Will get you drowsy and therefore easily shot.
Let us choose gray, brown or green,
Any mono colour will do to prevent us from acting mean.
After endless ages, all individuals in this herd,
Are fed up to be treated as the Savanna Nerds.

One of my entries for the Nerdvember contest on Bricknerd. Actually, it's just something I came up with while experimenting with my other entry. The theme of the contest is 80's and this is more of a 70's build, but the rules did say that we can build anything we want as long as it's nerdy.
Meet Nerdly Kitty, straight from the Cloud. Or is it Uni-Nerdly? Anyway, I've created her for Nerdvember 2014. Isn't she cute? And now I'm putting back on my own glasses again. Gotten square eyes of viewing The Nerdly Movie, but the fun was worth it.
