Before removing the tape off my glasses. This was one of my props (along with my retainer) for my Halloween costume:
Got my roommate to pose as a nerd for a photo project. SB-800 camera right, and SB-800 behind pointed at the blanket backdrop
For FGR - NERD.
This is probably the second fastest pic I've ever done. I'm tired and anxious to curl up in bed and watch Juno, so....there we go.
Oh and I got tagged to post 16 random facts about myself, and I WILL do it, just...not tonight...hehe. It deserves to be done on a day when I can put more effort into it!
So the CSR Supv had the BEST Nerd attire too. He even asked ME to the PROM. Again HYSTERICAL, all day as he walked past me, came to my desk, followed me with his KICK ME sign on his shirt and the look he's giving me NOW I just couldn't keep my composure. This has been a FANTASTIC day in the office and I have not said that in MONTHS since I have been in turmoil with this employer. This entire week has been too much FUN. Monday was: Hawaiian day, Tuesday: Wig Day, Wed:Hat Day, Thu: Nerd Day (blue jeans worn for FRE) and tomorrow (sigh): Wear your fav sports jersey/sweatshirt BUT still pay $2.00 to wear blue jeans.
My alter ego is what I call a stressed out nerd. I am not the type of person to ever be stressed out. My mom always refers to me as her “calm child” who will “never die of a heart attack”. Even though my alter ego is someone who I am not and hopefully never will be, that person in there is still me in certain ways. Some of these ways might include the fact that we are both very studious and work hard in school. And ff course, we look alike too.
In this picture there are symbols to help get my message across. There is a pile of homework to my right, which needs to be completed. Also, my knees are tucked up to my chest, and hands are above my head in the process of breaking a pencil. My body language is giving off the message that I am tired, stressed out or even shielding my self from something. Breaking a pencil, or biting on a pencil is a sign of stress or agitation. If you put everything together you might come up with the reason that the pile of homework next to me is probably the reason why I am so stressed out.

More loose interpretations of melodies on the Ibanez RD 727. A kind co-worker installed these fabulous new DiMarzio pickups in it for me.
I've always loved "Aieliaria And Everonn" by Helstar.

"The Nerd"
A comedy by Larry Shue
Live on stage at Weathervane Playhouse in Akron, Ohio, from April 28 to May 15, 2011
Directed by Rohn Thomas
What would you do if someone you’re supposed to admire shows up suddenly at your birthday party and then refuses to leave? That’s the central premise of The Nerd, a hilarious, hijink-packed comedy.
Set in Terre Haute, Indiana, in late 1981, "The Nerd" introduces us to the hysterical dilemma of a young architect named Willum Cubbert, a long-suffering yet straight-shooting man. We learn that Willum was a soldier in Vietnam before he became a successful architect, and he feels deeply indebted to a mysterious stranger named Rick Steadman. After being seriously wounded in battle, Rick saved Willum’s life. And because he was unconscious during this daring rescue, Willum has never really met Rick. Consequently, Willum is delighted when Rick shows up unexpectedly at his apartment in Terre Haute on the night of his 34th birthday party. However, Rick’s uncouth manner and his inappropriate behavior threaten to throw the happy occasion into serious shambles. It turns out that Rick is a stupid "nerd" who overstays his welcome with a vengeance. Have you ever heard the saying that “fish and houseguests stink after three days?” "The Nerd" pays humorous homage to that clever maxim!
