Awkward corner. Our living room has three doorways and two windows, which doesn't leave much room for places to put furniture. I can't figure it out and how it could be better. These are the things I think about when I am home all day. Also there are two outlets in the room, which doesn't help.

Houston Community College and industry leaders, elected officials and emerging business executives from Stafford are joining forces to solve the workforce needs in the area.
During the Workforce Summit, held Thursday at the Stafford Campus, HCC Chancellor, Dr. Mary Spangler; HCC Southwest President Orfelina (Fena) Garza, Ph.D. and The Honorable Leonard Scarcella, Mayor of Stafford, talked about what Stafford needs and what HCC is doing to fill those needs.
found this 2 month old boxer puppy during my morning walk with my dog. it was dumped by the previous "owner(s)", apparently they felt bad and left him his water bowl. how nice of them. I took him to my vet as he looked in very sad shape, and they confirmed he has parvo (probably the reason he was dumped). he will stay at the vet clinic for a while as he deserves a chance, if he pulls through I'll need to find him a home. looks like my tax rebate will be spend in America, on American made goods & services :-)

Found this interesting. At first glance it look like the animal has a chunk out of his head.
