Colwyn Bay Victoria Pier 7th June 2008 . Taken with my Pentax ME Super SLR with smc pentax M1 f1.7 50mm lens. This detail of the pier shows the old ballroom - needs much repair but the businessman who has taken over the pier has limited resources sadly.
National Park Seminary in Silver Spring, Maryland. This was an exclusive girl's school that became an annex to Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and finally has been developed into single family homes and condos. There has been a successful effort to preserve some of the art and architecture of the place. More at saveourseminary.org/
Everyone needs someone. Someone who will accept them, listen to them and let them know they are not alone....
More people means more food needs to be grown to feed those people. Mentioned earlier, agriculture can have a detrimental effect on the natural landscape as more land is cleared and when more pesticides and irrigation are used. Aquaponics is one solution to growing sustainable food by combing fish farming and plant production. More sustainable food options will help fight our negative impact on the environment and also help battle climate change as the population grows.
I liked the NEEDS YOU in the background when I took this shot, then the bride turned around. (If the bride sees this photograph and wants me to remove it, I would be happy to do so).

Shot using a reversal ring (hence no aperture info in the exif). Hand-held for experimentation.
Some fast rot happened in this area on both sides. Did not need attention when it was painted year prior, Found a lot of mud accumulated there.
This pretty girl needs a name. We nicknamed her Mrs. T since she was best buds with Mr. T before we separated them to prevent more babies. Somehow, Mrs. T doesn't seem quite fitting. We'd like her to have a pretty name, since she is such a beautiful piggy. Any ideas?
