Week 4 of the Texas Renaissance Festival brought a chilly morning, and mild afternoon. This is one of my favorite weekends because of all the costumes before Halloween. I have more photos on my website MichealFalgoust.com.
I bought this press last week from the fellow who used to do my photoengraving. Ron closed up his business about a month ago. He started working at Moir Engraving in 1955. He helped move this very proof press into it's current spot in the shop that year. At that point it was inked up and used to proof engravings daily.
That is the same ink that was put on the rollers 50 years ago. The acids that are used in the etching process have caused much surface oxidation, but I am no stranger to cleaning up these #4s.

Khuong Ngyuyen needs a massage. His photo composites tell all Creative Tempest needs to know, and we are going to send him over a skilled Swede right away. Khoung Nguyen’s most compelling images feature people contorted and twisted up into inhuman poses, though the are created with such skill that Creative Tempest cannot determine if he simply edited the photos, or really did just photograph some incredibly skilled gymnasts. Either way someone either in front of or behind those photos is waking up in the morning with an aching back! Find out more at www.creativetempest.com

She's finished, but I'm not happy. I need to change her bum and legs...I hate them! This is also the first time I have ever painted a face, let alone a porcelain doll, so please be kind!
I wasn't going to share, but you all have seen him grow up the past couple months & more positive thoughts & prayers may help. Our little guy is in the hospital. He ate some berries off a plant that is poisonous. He starting vomiting last night & we thought it was just a bug. Then this morning, he lost his motor skills. We found the berries in his BM and realized what happened. He is at the vet, they started him on an IV & said they will empty his stomach & intestines & we will know more tomorrow. The vet seemed hopefull, but he doesn't know how much he ate & will know more if the damage is permanent. hopefully we caught it in time.. think positive thoughts for our little guy.
