It’s from a hat store in a small town called Tierp, about two hours from Stockholm. It’s taken in the middle of the summer during a long cosy walk.

Need to finish the painting. But I think (if i don't sell it) this is where it'll sit, on the wall above my candles.

Volunteers Needed!: Fall Bread and Cheese Creek Cleanup on September 12th!

Saturday September 12th is just right around the corner! Won’t you please volunteer a little of your time from 8 am until 2 pm for the Fall Bread and Cheese Creek Cleanup? For our 5th year in a row, we will be running this cleanup in conjunction with the Ocean Conservancy's Annual International Coastal Cleanup! We will be targeting the area of the stream from the Berkshire Community to North Point Road! Volunteers of all ages and abilities are needed! Help us remove the trash before it flows into Back River, the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean! Every piece of trash removed is a small victory to be celebrated!

We run our cleanups as a family event with plenty of ways for volunteers to participate. We welcome every type of person of every ability level to contribute and assist with the cleanup. Though it is true we will need people to dig out shopping carts and haul trash to the dumpsters, we need people to run water, food, tools, and trash bags (both empty and full) to individuals in the creek. People to sort recyclables from the debris removed. People will be needed to help at registration, setup food and snacks as well as many other less strenuous activities. We are also authorized to sign-off on Community Service and Service Learning Hours for students. The more people we have, the easier the work will be for everyone. We will provide lunch and snacks as well as gloves. A limited number of tools are available for sign-out, but suggest bringing your own if you have them.

Since this cleanup covers almost four miles of stream we are always in desperate need of individuals with trucks, jeeps and ATV’s wiling to haul trash from extraction points to the dumpsters.

Registration will be at 2408 Plainfield Road, Dundalk , Maryland, 21222 and will open at 7:00 am and we will enter the stream at 8:00 am after a brief orientation.

Community Service and Service Learning Hours are available as well!

We are also looking for photographer/videographer volunteers to help us document our cleanup as well

Registration will open at 7:00 am and we will enter the stream at 8:00 am after a brief orientation!

I relashed both Rory and Jordan a couple weeks ago, but haven't gotten around to taken pictures, but you can see Jordan's new lashes a whole lot better :3

Alright, I'm in serious need of feedback here! I made a deal with my dad to get Jordan a new wig. I already know what style I like, but I'm having a devil of a time picking a color O__o

I SERIOUSLY need your help!

So here are the pictures:

We Need Us is a living artwork, shaped by people and data. It is a real-time online artwork that explores the life of data. Unlike traditional data-visualisation which helps us make sense of information in large data sets, We Need Us investigates the unique properties of data as a whole. The primary material used to create sound and animation in the work is metadata – data about data – from the actions of over a million people participating in the citizen science website, Zooniverse.org. We Need Us would cease to exist without human activity, as with much technology, people are at the heart of the process.

Commissioned by The Space and the Open Data Institute, 2014. New compositions commissioned by NEoN for the 2018 Festival, with further support from the Open Data Institute.

About the Artist

Julie Freeman translates complex processes and data from natural sources into kinetic sculptures, physical objects, images, sound compositions and animations. Her work explores relationship between science and the natural world; questioning the use of technology in how we translate nature.

Julie’s focus is the investigation of data as an art material, using it to create work which reflects the human condition through the analysis and representation of live animal data. A mix of computer scientist, artist and future speculator, she often works collaboratively and experimentally with organisations, scientists and curators to curate, develop and produce works, projects and exhibitions around the concept of data.

Over the past 15 years, her work has been shown at leading institutions including: the V&A, London’s Institute of Contemporary Art, Barbican Centre, and the Science Museum, as well as internationally. Julie has won awards from the Wellcome Trust, the Arts Council, and a fellowship from Nesta, she is a TED senior fellow. In addition to her work at the ODI, Julie is a visiting researcher at the Media & Arts Technology DTC at Queen Mary University of London, and creative director of Fine Acts, a not-for-profit bridging art, technology and human rights.

Julie co-directs the ODI Data as Culture art programme with ODI Associate Curator Hannah Redler Hawes.

I need to try these green and brown things. They're jelly like and scooped out into a tray of shredded coconut.

We needed shots of people in our kit, so we went for a ride round Dulwich Park.

Needing a refurb

Plenty of cleaning up needed on these

Up in the mountains we came to Dusko home village. While walking from one place to the other and feeling "on top of the world" we came across this place.

"this is the local clinic" he said " and a doctor comes up here twice a week, but he has nothing to do".

Understandable.
