My 24th secret is this: I secretly love it when I feel "needed".
It makes me feel loved.
That I am here for a purpose. The people need Ansy. Because only Ansy can give them what they need.
It doesn't happen that often, that people need me. I mean, amongst friends. But when they do, I make sure I am available.
I make sure I answer my mobile when a friend calls me up at 3am in the morning, because she needs to talk and pour out her troubles.
I make sure I have my arms wide open when a friend needs a hug.
I make myself available when a friend wants a heart to heart.
And I try my bestest to do that task when a friend asks me to do a favour.
However. When family members need me. That's a bit of a struggle. I do sometimes try my best to fit their needs. But I aint superwoman [oh the demands of family life! and oh how they test your patience...] but it's ok :) you can pick your flowers, pick your nose, pick your friends, but you can't pick your family.
But fundamentally, it's nice to know when you're needed, and when you feel needed. It makes life worth living.
For the rest of this month of May, I have decided to take this opportunity to do the
30 SECRETS IN 30 DAYS challenge! I will tell you my secrets. Day-by-day :) Ok, some may seem like facts, but they're still things not many people know about, thus qualifying them to BE secrets. Heh.

The sleeveless shirt does not have a tag, but the quality "feels" like Barbie, and it's a good fit on her ...
The corduroy pants are strange, and while they are a good length for a standard Barbie, they are a loose fit (haven't tried them on a curvy girl yet).
There is no tag, but the quality is surprisingly nice with a true sewn-in waist band, belt loops, perfectly matched corduroy wales ...etc.
The oddest thing about them is the closure, which consists of full-length velcro up each leg --- kinda like the tear-away pants that Chippendale dancers wear. Was Ken ever an exotic dancer who favored pink corduroy? :-/ ??

Whilst I was walking along the corridors of Xitang, I met this old lady. She's looked like she's in her 80's. Really fragile, frail and old. I was somewhat shocked to her living alone in this little room no bigger than 4ft x 10ft.
She was completely chair bound. Couldn't walk nor get up from her seat. She was begging and saying something in Mandarin. But she sounded and looked so sad.
It broke my heart to see her being alone in that room.
I really doubt it that someone else is really taking care of her considering she had to beg and plead for money.Really wonder what happened to her family. I hope they didn't abandon her there or used her to beg for money from tourist.
I couldn't not give her money. Gave her about RMB10 (RM5) and so did one of my colleagues. I also couldnt help but take her pics as well. Hope God looks after her if she's living alone.

These two are my first Bratz dolls. Unfortunately i lost almost everything ,just not the dolls. And i want to have some of their stuff back. ;( Maybe somebody has these ( i marked RED) things that you dont need and could send me some? ;)

Former waiting room now event space. You can rent this space the next time you have a project launch or need a little extra space for that special birthday bash.
The bare bulbs in the bronze and silvered bronze chandeliers seem a bit off to us but there is a reason. Electric light was a new thing at the time and designers were still trying to figure what to do with the many bulbs needed to provide light. Added to this the Vanderbilt family was bragging that the building had total electric lighting and power, a rarity at the time.
I need water
Atop the roof of an old factory turned warehouse I sat and thought about how much water that tower could hold. My first time up I opted not to climb it in the dark. Next time I did go up and come straight down.
My creativity has been completely lost at the moment.
I blame the weather. It's been icing here, and it's been miserable. Every school was out today, except ours.
Ughughguhgugh.
But I'm really excited because supposedly me and Nicole are going to Florida for spring break !=]
Which means we could take tons of neat pictures. Aha.
Well hai guys. I'm trying to write a new story ATM, but I can't get any original ideas flowing. I'd really like to start writing again; it's good again. So please, I need some ideas. If I get 20 comments + an idea that works, I'll finally upload some Lego. Happy Eric? :P
