He came from the estate sale of a lady who clearly sold her doll clothes at craft shows and when I took off his outfit he litterally fell apart!
One hip joint is still in his torso; both arms have that blue stain and one arm/torso joint is so badly cut it may be unfixable!
Does anyone recognize him? His face has a lot of character and maybe I could find him a new body.... Only markings are "K15" on his neck and the number "2" right at the top of the crack of his...well his crack.
mom made some pan-fried buns for breakfast. i was excited. until i found out it was only mushroom and chive. oh well. still better than cereal.

Does Massachusetts Need a (New) Three Strikes Law? | Rappaport Center Blue Cross Blue Shield Roundtable
House Minority Whip Bradford Hill, United States District Judge Nancy Gertner (ret.), and Middlesex County Sheriff Peter Koutoujian led a full capacity crowd in a lively debate of the pros and cons of the sentencing reform bills currently being negotiated by a Massachusetts legislative conference committee. Rep. Hill explained the evolution of “Melissa’s Bill,” which he introduced shortly after the murder of 27-year-old Melissa Gosule in 1999, from a California-type “three strikes” bill to a more narrowly tailored habitual offender provision targeted at the most violent offenders. Others questioned whether even a more narrow provision will reduce crime or just exacerbate prison overcrowding.

Each year on Remembrance Sunday morning, many bus routes need to be curtailed or rerouted. Those that pass War Memorials are particularly affected, so as not to pass by during the commemorations. Route 161 which operates between North Greenwich and Chislehurst War Memorial requires a curtailment off the usual line of route at the Gordon Arms in Chislehurst. WVL220 (LX06DZC) still displaying the garage code of it's former garage 'Q' for Camberwell, waits at the Gordon Arms, the more usual terminus of route 61, before setting off back to North Greenwich, 08/11/15

i needed to walk to the post office in the centre of ferny-voltaire, france from my hotel on the edge of town. for october... it was an unusually sunny and crisp afternoon. the walk took about 30 minutes (+ pauses along the way to take snaps)
to hit the deadline... i had to complete the task alone, as i am away from home and very busy working in geneva, switzerland.
i recorded the audio on my iPhone, the audio is hosted here:

Creative workshop task 2: Alienated senses
Working in pairs if possible name yourselves “Eyes” and “Ears”. Ears is equipped with sound recording equipment (Your phone will be more than adequate!) and blindfolded. Eyes will lead Ears on a guided journey through a range of different environments. Ears will dictate the pace of the journey and say when they want to stop and make dedicated “sound-mark” recordings.
If you have to work alone then perhaps consider choosing an environment in which you can remain motionless with your eyes closed for several minutes. As you do so your sense of hearing will improve and you will begin to focus in on sounds that previously you’d of missed. Now search out these sounds with your recorder and build up a soundscape of them.
For the photography aspect investigate the same environment as a photographer, responding solely to what you see.
At the end of the journey Eyes repeats the route (wearing ear-defenders/plugs) responding to the visual stimuli.
You should end up with a landscape story and a soundscape story. This content should then be uploaded for everyone to share and mash-up. In next week’s session we’ll be combining soundscapes with image-based journeys and layering them with other people’s to make new artefacts. You must license this content as CC BY-SA or CC-BY to enable us to do all of this.
Take time to load up your content with as much information as possible such as the time, location, weather, your mood etc , all of this is information that can be dispensed with if not needed but has the potential to add value if included.

This is an old photo from 2004. It is a HART cat who found a home in 2004. It is not the cat in the story that follows.
'Kitten season' is beginning in Northern Virginia and the need for volunteers to foster homeless cats, kittens, dogs and puppies is great. If you are in the Northern Virginia area and are interested in fostering a homeless companion animal please read more about how to become a foster for HART. The more foster homes HART has, the more cats and dogs HART can help.
As an example of the the things that happen, here is a note from the director of the HART cat program from today:
"We have an urgent need for a foster for a female Persian mix who was taken in by HART from a bad situation. This cat was in a house that the owner bought and he kept the cat in his garage because his kids liked the cat. He also had a male un-neutered cat and decided recently that he wanted kittens. So he put the male in the garage with the female. She was terrified and tried to hide but the male cat went after her and scratched her eye (or near her eye). The man eventually noticed the large abscess on her left eye and took the cat to the vet. The vet convinced him to relinquish the cat to them (especially since the man didn’t have money to pay for treatment) and called HART to see if we could take her. We of course said yes.
The cat is a very friendly, very skinny 3-year-old female with a quarter sized abscess on her left eye. I visited her at the vet yesterday and I was in tears when I left her because she was so friendly and I couldn’t believe anyone could treat her as she had been treated. Her eye has got to hurt a lot. She may or may not be pregnant, may or may not be spayed (probably not). She is FeLV/FIV negative. We haven’t given any shots yet because of the possibility of pregnancy. I’m taking her to Vet Vision this afternoon to have her eye evaluated. She’ll have to have surgery and will probably have to have the eye removed.
I’m looking for someone to foster this girl. She’ll probably need medication while she recovers from surgery, then we’ll have to wait a month to see if she is pregnant. If she’s not pregnant, once she has recovered and gained some weight we can put her in PS and she’ll probably have a home quickly."
Taken outside the ticket office at Anfield. The sign behind reads "Do not purchase tickets from unauthorised sources they may be fraudulent". Wish I'd caught more of it in the frame.
