On my last night in England, [Nocturne] took me to the small RAF boneyard at Long Marston in the rainy English Midlands. This is an RAF search-and-rescue Westland Whirlwind.

Night, 2 minute exposure. Full moon (though there was no moonlight filtering through the clouds), strong sodium vapor light, natural and green-gelled flashlight.

Reprocessed and replaced, June 2023.

This was attached to a tree in the downtown square where most of the homeless meet.

Over the years, this ancient stone structure in Portugal began to sprout a rooftop of bushy shrubbery. I spotted this on a hillside near a small winery where we stopped to do a little wine tasting.

A sudden cold snap, no boilers going, and I have one cat directly under my reading lamp and the other on my lap. Here's Pete sunning (lamping?) himself. Note what Dad calls the cocoon lamp in the background.
