I captured this image at the Riffles Platform with a view looking to the north at Brooks Falls while observing a brown bear in Katmai National Park. The image is of a male brown bear walking through the waters of the Brooks River in search of salmon to attempt to catch and eat.

The Pittsburgh Sub of the W&LE in the first few miles out of Rook is a very rocky, twisty, tough area to navigate, and hard to access for a lot of it. The 614 job is on its way to Tube City and Clairton on this day, seen winding it's way through the rocks.

After a week of heavy rain the dam at Leixlip on the Liffey is opened to release pressure. The result is heaven for the local canoeists! This one was taken just below the Palmerstown weir, a few kilometres below the dam.

DB Cargo 60092 brightens the scene, as it navigates its way through the Cheshire countryside with 6F05 Tunstead - Lostock Works loaded limestone. After my plan to shoot something at lunchtime was scuppered upon arrival, I got home and wasn't too fussed about heading back out again. Pulled myself off my backside with the lure of some evening sun and I'm certainly glad I bothered now!
