I have yet to be properly assessed (on the waiting list) I am nearly sure I have ADHD. Life has been a struggle, some utterly ridiculous things have happened in my life which make it interesting but my brain really is ‘wired differently’ numerous things: dangerously impulsive, find it so hard to care about or concentrate on things that don’t interest me, terrible short term memory, easily distracted, either really animated and dominating conversations or want to be on my own.. I can’t keep a job because of it. countless things to deal with. I just wondered if any of you out there relate? X
Wright StreetLite Max DF 63146 is seen whining down Bucknall New Road in Hanley... navigating the heavy roadworks which is currently forcing only certain traffic to be allowed on the road in a single direction ~ 27/2/21
The drops of a heavy downpour bounce from the containers and platform at Carstairs with the spray trailing off the pantographs of Freightliners Class 86/6s Nos. 86637 & 86632 as they plough through the storm while heading the 4M74 Coatbridge - Crewe Basford Hall Liner on 3rd July 2009. The appearance of No. 86637 was shabby and the old grey livery was particularly dishevelled with evidence of patch painting around the head code plate and paint peeling off the bodyside. All was not lost, however, as it later became the first Class 86/6 to receive their new Powerhaul livery. Copyright Photograph John Whitehouse - all rights reserved
The eastbound Southwest Chief passes the Santa Fe's Dick Wootton Ranch sign as it descends Raton Pass with brilliant low-angle sunlight bathing the train. Above the train is the Raton Mesa, standing 9,000+ feet above sea level, a feature among the Sangre de Cristo Range of the Rocky Mountains.

Lost souls navigating this eerie space.
Whispers echo, secrets entwined,
In corridors where time unwinds."

If I want to see videos, I go to You Tube!
> Flickr is an excellent PHOTO site, and this is the service I pay for.
> I feel Flickr site is getting slower and slower... and with videos, it will be still heavier!
> I love the feeling of navigating through virtual photo albuns, now it's going to be like "oh no! it's a video - I don't want to see this...
> Let's see if Flickr will be genious to make this work without decreasing the quality of the site.

With one hand on the throttle and the other on the helm, she navigates her narrowboat through the waterway at Granary Wharf in Leeds.
A narrowboat is a particular type of canal boat, built to fit the narrow locks of the United Kingdom. The UK's canal system provided a nationwide transport network during the Industrial Revolution, but with the advent of the railways, commercial canal traffic gradually diminished and the last regular long-distance transportation of goods disappeared in 1970. – Source: Wikipedia.

Lindsi is one of the most compassionate and non-judmental women I know. She works with developmentally challenged children and helps them navigate a school system that isn't uniquely designed for them. Similarly, Lindsi is making her own way through the complicated shelter and re-homing system. Simply within the past year and a half she has navigated through a new Bipolar Syndrome diagnosis, finding a new career, and dutifully managing and recovering from a substance abuse issue. She's one of the most remarkable people I know. And this is only the beginning for her! #pinktigerproject #picoftheweek

For navigating the new Flickr.
- If you want to see someone's profile, send them a Flickr mail, etc, hover over their user icon. Click on the down arrow that appears.
- If you want to edit your photo, delete it, replace it, add it to a set, etc, go to the photo page and click on the three dots on the right.
- If you want to view someone's photostream with the old layout, go to their stream and add this to the end of the url: ?details=1
- If you want to view your stats, go to your profile or photostream, then click on the three dot icon.
- If you want to change who can see your photo or who can comment on it, click on the "show more" link next to the Additional Info heading, bottom right of the photo page. (Because it's so much easier to get to that way! Ugh)
- If you want to have a bigger space for typing you comments, click and drag the little triangle at the bottom left of the comment box (so lame that you have to do that!).
- If you want to know what really pisses me off about the redesign, this article sums it up well.
- Ipernity.com has scripts you can install (if you use Firefox) to import your photos from Flickr. Titles, dates, etc all transfer over. I've decided to start posting to both sites for now. Info on how to install the scripts is here:
Once they're installed, if you're on one of your photo pages, a link appears to import it to ipernity. You just click the link and it's done. To run the script that will import 90 at a time, go to your phototream page, and a link appears to do that.
If you sign up for ipernity, let me know--or just add me as a contact:
Anyone else who has tips they want to share about the new Flickr, please do.
