The red National Coal Board coal wagon a top the Causey Arch. The Causey Arch is a bridge near Stanley in County Durham North East England UK. It is the world’s oldest surviving railway bridge.
It was built in 1725-26 by stonemason Ralph Wood, funded by a conglomeration of coal-owners known as the "'Grand Allies'" (founded by Colonel Liddell and the Hon. Charles Montague) at a cost of £12,000. Two tracks crossed the Arch: one (the main way) to take coal to the River Tyne, and the other (the bye way) for the returning the empty wagons. Over nine hundred horse-drawn wagons crossed the arch each day using the Tanfield Railway. At the time the bridge was completed in 1726, it was the longest single span bridge in the country with an arch span of 31 m, a record it held for thirty years
Rome is a great city and chaotic, perhaps not suitable for the elderly, where concrete makes the lion's share and green lungs available are few. Turning in various public spaces I pointed my camera at them to create images, telling stories of life, approaching to social classes differenti.Il project is based on the expressive search of a balance between the photographer and subject. Investigating the relationship with the space they occupy, through the photographs showing a third age in constant and continuous operation, cheerful and emotional serena.Questo work comes the approach that I feel with old age, not seen in me but against a parent that I can not see age. So I decided to show, first of all to myself, the beauty of this stage of life, enriching the perception - unfortunately limiting - often has of the elderly and of this stage of life. In the photograph the elderly are little used, this discovery pushed me even more in my choice. To bring down prejudice and stereotipi.Quello that made me happier taking these photos, was seeing their faces when I aimed the camera at them: in many cases they were more excited and more excited than me. We were sharing a unique emotion. In fact I was not just making a photo of them, but I was taking something from them, receiving an inner charge incredibile.Un last note on the title: La Via dei Girasoli. In reference to the tendency of this plant to always turn towards the sun. The term is derived from Sunflower rotation direction of the sun and it is also used to refer to other plants belonging to the genus Helianthus, many of which are perennial, as if to say that the man is always trying to turn toward the sun hoping to remain constant .
I received my Kidz n Cats Elise (2013) last month and finally got the time to customise her. She's had the full works from new faceup to new eyes and lashes, and new wig...which incidentally is too small!!! She's wearing a beanie in some photos in the hope of flattening down the sides! All she needs now are some clothes of her own. :)

I saw this new Vivitar EZ35 Colors camera at the local thrift store for $2 USD, so I had to try it out. I think it has a similar lens to the SlimDevil at 27mm. I ran a roll of AGFA Vista Plus ISO 100 Film through it.
