In the early hours of December 17th I headed out to photograph the Subway in the first snowstorm of the season, winter storm Gail. The storm turned out to be a record one, blanketing the city in 8 to 12 inches of powder (depending on the location within the vast city); the most in a single storm since 2016.
Here, a Manhattan-bound (N) train is approaching 8th Ave station - the first above-ground station since the line's split from the 4th Avenue subway and naturally my first stop.

Hello my friends and my many enemies top of the morning to ya,Todays painting is called (N.Y.Stock Exchange) and unless you have been living under a rock you know about how the market goes up and down like a ballon, people losing everything they have worked and saved for, wiped out in a snap of the finger, on the other hand some people walk away with more money than a person could spend in a lifetime.also this painting was inspired by a work of art I saw in jimoneilalaskas photostream called (Good morning America how are you?) also was inspired to do this painting in a style of the artist named stefan krikl and how he uses the colors red and black so effectively ,and the emotion in his art is amazing, it seems when I work with red and black the painting seems to have a stronger emotional value, also looking at this painting can you tell if this person has just found out they lost a billon dollars or perhaps gained a billon? and with that in mind I stir my cup of hot tea and bid you all a finefarewell, steve

Hollywood Studios has some great rides. In this corner of the park sits two of the best in The Tower of Terror and the Rock'n Roller coaster. This was the 1st image i took on my November 2014 trip. This was also the first Disney image I took with my new Canon 6d.

This Eat'n Park restaurant was opened in 2006. A former Ground Round restaurant (opened 1994, closed 2004) was razed to build this Eat'n Park. This restaurant was the western-most Eat'n Park restaurant during its duration of being open. Sadly, this restauarant closed on July 18th, 2011, due to poor business.

For those dreaming and wishing, N&W 1218 while under steam in the late 80s or early 90s, my memory fails me. Was one of the many bystanders preparing to board for a wonderful ride. Maybe someday it will steam again.
Just because its winter does not mean that there are n o infrared images out there. It was a lovely sunny morning and just perfect for a drive to see what out there to be caught in infrared. The side lighting was simply beautiful.

Definitely best viewed large.
I've posted one of these frames before, but always liked that I'd captured a series of photos while the train flew past me. This is just an experiment in capturing that. I'd love your feedback in what you think.
I'd also considered running fewer photos along the top and bottom (maybe only 4) or perhaps only running them along the top.
