This is one is finished. The stains that I used are Wallnut for the background, Cherry for the main body, Red Oak for the horns and the back, and gold paint for part of the eyes and teeth. This piece has been signed by the orginal artist Marsha Jordan and myself.
It's called the Royal Oak and it was obviously a pub so I was a little confused about all the mythical beasties - then I realised it's now called "Royal Oak House" and it's the register office. Thatexplains all the demons then! (-:
There was something projected on to this wee caravan, but it wasn't very clear what it actually was.
The Kelpies are two 30-metre-high horse-head sculptures, standing next to a new extension to the Forth and Clyde Canal, and near River Carron, in The Helix Park.

This is the cardboard wing mock-up in the wing-retracted position.
The cardboard disc at the bottom (which will actually be the rear when the mechanism is upright) represents the wooden gear that will drive the wing.
