A witness of a heritage which is almost but gone: one thing is sure, in some respects the Irish were greater patrons of the Arts than the English.

Very good read: replete with quixotic details and I should add very rich vocabulary and elegant turn of the phrase!

Well, this is a serious professional book written by architects and it is well structures and packed with information and good b/w s,all photos for each building it describes. The New edition has some of the late 1990s buildings; the cost is not cheap; I bought my copy in the RIBA bookshop @ 66 Portland Place (incidentally, the young staff there is very helpful and knowledgeable).

Too hefty to carry it with one on site but a good pointer and excellent reference book.

Fantastic book from a fantastic series. This one showcases some of the more outstanding and unique takes on the art and design of posters.

Participants guess the number of starburst in the jar.
