The "Maïtena" was a Mauritanian lobster-tuna boat built at the Tertu au Fret shipyard in 1964 for Louis Salaün.
First enrolled in Camaret in 1965 , he moved to Douarnenez (DZ 4107), then to Morlaix in 1973 (Mx 195448).
In 1976 it was bought by Jean-Pierre Salaün for crab fishing.
Since 2001 , it has been beached in Camaret in front of the ND chapel in Rocamadour.
My Pentax MX with the pentax smc-m 50mm f/1.7 laying on a desk in my room.
The meter on this camera doesn't work but i dont really need care... I guess that is why i haven't taken it to be fixed.
Smallest SLR body around, fully mechanical and with a bright viewfinder. This camera is a joy to shot with.
Another fully re-sealed Pentax MX, this time in black with a (working!) winder. The winder needed some work done on the battery hatch and also needed the disintegrating foam replaced. It's all fully working now.
Alienbees ABR800, camera left and an Alienbees B800, camera right, all through a diffusion tent.
A Pentax MX which I bought recently from huuto.net. In relatively good condition apart from the light seals which are really in need of replacing. Have ordered a kit from ebay.

This car was created to order by Bob Petersen Engineering in Devon. Something so beautifully and faithfully crafted shouldn't have the handle "Replica" attached to it, but that is what it is.
It is a copy of the Embiricos Bentley, only one exists (In California).The Embiricos Bentley was the fastest saloon car in Britain before the war, and certainly the most stylish. Chassis number B-27-LE was a special commission by Greek gentleman motor racer and shipping magnate André Maris Embiricos. Designed by Frenchman Georges Paulin and built by Marcel Pourtout in July 1938, the magnificent aerodynamic ‘Continental’ set high-speed records and went on to race at Le Mans three times.
Bob Petersen and his client sourced a very tired standard Park Ward Derby Bentley saloon in need of a total rebuild. Being an MX-series example, it had the correct long gearing. Bob stripped it to a rolling chassis and then spent eight months constructing a wooden buck on which to shape the aluminium bodywork. For me as a car nut, the result is a thing of beauty.
