Stitched shot of a service vessel, the MV C-Odyssey moored up in Kirwall harbour. I was drawn to the huge rust red chains on deck initially, but thought it ight make an interesting and vibrant photo. I think it serves offshore wind farms and diving type operations at sea.

The MV Excelsior in Osborne, near Adelaide's Outer Harbor. The Excelsior worked as a coal hulk to service steamer dredges working in Port Adelaide in the 1930s.

The MV 103C Deminer is a variant of the STRV 103C designed for the purpose of clearing a path through enemy mine fields. In return for ditching the 105mm, the MV 103C received a mine roller at the front, as well as a highly modified superstructure. The underside of the hull is designed to withstand anti-tanks mines with explosive yields up to 12kg.

Calmac's MV Argyle made her maiden sailing in 2007 after being built in Poland at a cost of £9 million. She is capable of carrying 450 passengers and 60 cars at a speed of 18 knots and works alongside her sister MV Bute on the busy Wemyss Bay/Rothesay crossing. Argyle is the old spelling of Argyll. Here, Argyle makes her final approach to Rothesay Pier.

Caledonian MacBrayne's MV Loch Tarbert is pictured on the slipway at Lochranza on The Isle of Arran, having brought my dad over on the seasonal crossing from Claonaig.
Built by J W Miller & Sons Ltd at St Monans she was launched on the 20th February 1992, entering service on the 25th July 1992 on the seasonal Claonaig–Lochranza crossing operating that crossing in summers until 2016.
Still with (2021) Caledonian MacBrayne as a spare/relief vessel and has seen use across their network to cope with the traffic as and when required.

MV Lady Hester berthed alongside at Greenock Ocean Terminal this morning, having arrived yesterday from Rauma in Finland. She was built in 2011 and is 98 metres long.
Heading to Greenock's Ocean Terminal MV ASTERIX is part of Exercise Joint Warrior 2020.

MV Swan sails on Lake Windermere, she can carry up to 533 passengers. She was built by Vickers of Barrow in 1938.
The wreck of the MV Alta (IMO 7432305) at Ballyandreen, Ballycotton, Cork 20th February 2020. It ran aground on February 17th.
The Panamanian flagged MV Alta was new in 1976. She was abandoned in October 2018 after a US Coast Guard relief operation to rescue the crew about 2,200 km south-east of Bermuda, while en-route from Greece to Haiti.

MV Hebridean Princess seen at Dartmouth....
MV Hebridean Princess is a cruise ship operated by Hebridean Island Cruises. She started life as the MacBrayne car ferry and Royal Mail Ship, initially RMS then MV Columba, based in Oban for the first 25 years of her life, carrying up to 600 passengers, and 50 cars, between the Scottish islands.
CalMac Ferry MV Loch Tarbert waits in vain at Mingary Pier (Kilchoan) for any traffic on the last run of the day on the seasonal service to Tobermory. New in 1992, she was built for the Claonaig-Lochranza service but has been on the Kilchoan service since 2017. This is probably the most remote of the locations served by CalMac car ferries on the Scottish mainland.
MV Curranulla, the oldest commuter passenger ferry running to a regular service in Australia, sitting at Cronulla wharf before heading back to Bundeena.
