I finally bought another one of these Leatherman Micras. I had one a long time ago but lost it somehow. It's the best multi-tool I've ever owned, as it's spot on my keyring lends to its daily use.

I'm planning on getting some brighter, and consistent temperature, bulbs and maybe some goose necks or something for me to position them. That and some paper sheet, instead of more t-shirt. You can see the shirt's weave, =-(.

#349.95 here...

I got a second-hand one from the Mr Mini manager for $200 cash plus $20 on card.. In Excellent condition, should last me the next 25 years until I am 106...

It needs a strong leather belt to carry as an edc

At least you can get most of the tools out without opening the pliers, not like on my Rebar!

In all my 2-3 million miles or kilometres of #FlickrSpelio #bushwalking, #SUSScaving, #WASGcaving, #RMLAIDForest life or #GSWANullarbor work, travel #roundAUstraliawithSpelio or in the UK or Europe in #Helga2004, where I bought a #SAKTinker in Switzerland or in #mtus, where I bought the #juiceS2, I never needed a #SAKedc or #Leatherman as I always had a couple of fully equipped toolboxes of #remotegearlist and a trusty #sheathknife.

Actually a 400-year-old craft invention like the Piedmontese "barachin" there probably qualifies as a "single" tool

The most useful tool when working in the film and photography industry (apart from Gaffers tape though!). If you can't fix it with gaffa, you haven't used enough.

The gear from my bag. not pictured are the game cases for the DS and PSP, my multitool, my utility knife, and my Tom Tom (which I left in the car).

The sets always have one. The Bulgarian one may have lacked a knife-blade and yet it had this unknown implement.

This was the last one in the "Anasazi Commissioning" series. Red oak, lettering cut with a dremmel multitool with a router base. I have refinished this one a few times and done a lot of experimentation to it. I still need to do the final finish of the piece.

In case you didn't notice it, the screwdriver blade is bottom left. I cannot remember why I have the flat blade in at the moment.

You can also see the pocket clip on the left.

Update -- 2018. In my experience, the pocket clip is useless. The knife fell out of my pocket while getting out of the car (twice). The second time it damaged the latching mechanism on the screwdriver bit holder, and I lost a bit in the process.

Backpacking, I missed the functionality of my Swiss Navy knife, so I've written this off as a bad buying decision, and gone back to carrying my Swiss Navy Knife. The CX is sitting on the shelf, while I decide whether I'll send it off to be repaired.

Multitool and two pocket knives

Hands and Franz Action Figures!

You have to wonder how the workman installed that. Just pliers, I guess

How did the craftsman manage the built-in hinge-pin part?

It doesn't lock into place, it just sort of jams and sticks.

That one was funny. Already disposed of my tools. Who needs tools, when you have the super MacGyver multitool?

convertible rollerblades are faster than heelys.
