A Leatherman for under $30.00, I thought it was too good to be true.It turns out this is a quality tool. It is basic, there are all the tools you may need for everyday use. It has a compact design I carried it in my front pocket on its clip like I do my folder and never noticed it was there. Everything works as it should even the file works really good, my only complaint is the knife blade, it feels kind of cheap but not unusable. No side play in pliers, wire cutters work really good. Also I like that the knife and scissors were accessible while tool is closed. All in all a great multitool for light everyday use.
some weird looking multitool i picked up at a discount store for $4. the tools are plentiful but the quality is questionable. see notes.
Today's #knivesandcoffee offering is a Leatherman PST. I've carried this multitool all over the place since the late 1990s and it's still going strong! Recently sharpened the blade and oiled everything up. In the mug: Daybreak dark roast coffee from Back Porch Coffee Roasters.

Should come with an optional accessory of a second multi-tool to put it all back together. I'm probably going to get some feedback from Aldi on this the way I'm going today…

Shot for the "Macro Madness" event on Facebook. Basically someone created an event where the focus for the week is macro type shots.
Leatherman: The only multi-tool that one should own. I've never had one break. I've tried others (ie. Gerber Tool) and they have broken. I'll only ever buy a Leatherman.

Every modern person who sees it, even a small Ibizan child, seems to instantly assume that it's tableware; it's a spoon-with-fork spork.
I like water shut off valves with these types of handles.
If the valve is stuck, just put your tool in the handle as shown and crank on it.
a present from my daughter is this handy wallet sized tool that features 18 functions, which i still need to verify. ah, the 21st century, is certainly is an innovative and consumer society . i wonder what will come out next
