(Multiple exposure achieved accidentally, with a long exposure and second flash from another person's camera, with a little, ahem, unsteadiness by me in between.)
I've long suspected that Iris' eye color has changed. So with much coaxing (using treats), I almost got the adult Iris in the same pose in the same window as her baby shot on the left. You can see her blue eye has hardly changed, but her green eye has lightened. It's almost yellow now.

after getting a phone call first thing in the morning telling me to run outside because there were 2,000 Santas running amok ...stumbled upon multiple feral parrots while climbing up a tall, tall hill for a breathtaking 360 view of all the bay. hopefullly all these multiples are a sign of good fortune. (that's the little bit of China that I can't shake ...thinking everything is a sign of either good fortune, prosperity or longevity.)
